i hear you 100%, and i’m gonna work on the game quite a bit after the jam ends. also thanks for the feedback! :D

I was actually thinking of having the map, music, and graphics reflect the happiness level of your town as well, like the music becoming more somber and the map becoming less pleasant, but it was a bit too much for the time i had. I will definitely be using your feedback though, so thank you! :)

no problem!

I was thinking of an animated clip that shows you what to do along with the text, instead of just the text, because I feel like i was missing something when I played.

With a little bit more polish, like a more clear and concise tutorial, I think this could be a really fun game :) . I also love the animation of each sprite.

I'm the small-brained one here for not communicating that to you well :( ,  but I'm glad you found the little guys amusing.

i also think it’d be better if you could choose what stats you wanna see instead of having it all thrown into your lap as a text box. thank you for the feedback and kind words too, it means a lot :D

I think I've got a good idea of what you're talking about, and I think it would totally expand on the idea of the player impacting others; because I really did fail to  emphasize the feeling of making a change when all you see at the end is a wall of stats and text. i'm glad you liked the idea, and thank you for the great ideas.

I had actually zoomed it in a bit more than I initially planned, but do agree that more zoom would definitely benefit the game. I also really like the idea of progressively longer days, because when I was testing it i could never get a good, constant day length. 100% noted for when the jam ends. thank you :D !

this is a pretty interesting take on the theme, and i like it, I just wish there was more control over the player's movement and rotation.

oh how I wish there was an endless mode, cause this is very very fun

this plays amazingly well! an overall great job.

very nice take on the theme! I only wish the revolver was more controllable and responsive

gotcha👌, and thank you for the feedback

I really like the idea of a moral dilemma. But when you mentioned the play making changes “higher than the personal level,” do you mean not limiting the player to just person-to-person interactions? because I also like that idea.

thank you for the feedback! i kinda thought the gameplay was boring too, and though i’ve got a few ideas on how to make it more engaging, do you have any specific suggestions?

well that’s annoying😔, but thank you for letting me know. I’ll look into it and see what i can do about it.

I only managed to get around 24 myself, but thank you so much! I'm very glad to hear that :D

thank you!

💯

you can thank trevor henderson for that thing’s inspiration. also, i hope you enjoyed the game!

thank you! the homey feeling is what i was going for so i’m very glad to hear that

The game looks very nice, and the echolocation system was incredibly cool. A very horrifying game, but I never could find the code

This had me very tensed up, and the ambiance kept me very on edge. Great game

Thank you, that’s very amazing to hear, and I’ll definitely have to fix whatever is making the camera act up.

I decided to model the map of the game off of my own house, so i designed every asset to match the furniture around my house. The music and sound were also made by me, and I’m personally really happy with the music as it really helps create a homey and casual feel. https://s-0ooo.itch.io/my-house-is-not-my-home

I had the same issue sometimes, but it was only when i would run the game in the editor in Unity and not have it in full screen. Were you running the game in the browser?

thank you very much!

Very horrible game. I love it

The music was pretty catchy, too good of a game though

Cookies are strangely addictive. Also thank you very much for checking the game out.

I'm conflicted about the pumpkins, but they don't seem sentient so I think it's fine.

This is a great game overall, and I really enjoyed the power-ups and the art style.
