So I think the art was good, even though the animations need a bit more polish. Speaking of polish: the controls need some more too. Maybe some music would help too. For your first game it is pretty decent and I am sure you learned a lot! If you work on it a bit more you can improve it a lot!

Definitely a creative puzzle game!
the only thing it is missing is, as already mentioned some music. The game overall feels great!

The atmosphere was great and I liked the voice overs a lot! Don´t know why this has so few votes. It´s a great game overall and I enjoyed playing it!

I love the simplicity behind the art! The game looks just amazing!

The momentum was fun too! Honestly one of my favorites

The game feels polished and is great fun to play! But sometimes the rewinding led to some weird situations and the bomb went completely off its path

I think most things were already mentioned but I think with some polish the game can be good!

First of all the art looks just amazing!

The game was great fun too but the jump felt a bit weird sometimes and was not so smooth. The music and atmosphere were great!

Sadly it was almost impossible to play for me because of the mouse sensitivity. Otherwise the game looked interesting

First of all the movement feels great and I liked the puzzles a lot!

The graphics and the music were nice too!

This is my game, a procedural generated dungeon crawler. I hope you like it!

thank you!

Yes I had!

The game is fun to play and I liked the combat system a lot! The graphics look great!

Sometimes the collision detection of the bullets feels a bit weird sometimes but all in all it is a good game with great potential!

For your first game it´s good and works fine too!

I see some room for improvements: You could make a little intro scene to create a better setting or like a winning screen or sound effect.

Congrats on finishing your first game!

The mechanic is very creative and fun!

I loved the puzzles and the movement. The only thing is that you can push the "boxes" too far sometimes and get stuck. Overall I would say it´s a great game with much potential!

The game is fun to play!

Th theme is hit on point! The trail the player left behind was a very good idea, so that you can keep track of the path you took. Maybe a "hardmode" without the trail would be interesting"

Thank you!

Thank you! I will expand the tutorial in the future!

First, I think the name is clever, I like stuff like this!

The gameplay feels nice and exiting, except for the jump, It is a bit late sometimes but nothing too bad! I really like challenging games like this and had a great time playing it!

Thats nice to hear

First of all the game looks amazing! I love the art!

I think it is fun to play and because you had a list of known bugs, I was able to avoid them.

The only thing are the bugs but you already know them.

Overall a great game!

some feedback would be amazing, if you have the time

If you want to play a puzzle rogue-like feel free to check out my game https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722319

Thank you for letting me know. haven´t heared about it yet, seems to be your computer. Sorry for that

Thank you for your feedback!

I see most of your points, but the game indeed has an ending. You fight a boss on floor three.

I hid a small "story" in the game over and the winning screen.

Getting stuck is ment to be part of the game. Thats why the player has the "o" button to kill himself (explained in the tutorial) but I see why it is frustrating

The core mechanic was fun.

I think the audio and graphics are great too! But the game is a bit buggy sometimes.

Oh thats not what should happen. I sadly was not able to test it.

My game is a tile-based puzzle-rogue like / dungeon crawler with procedual dungeon generation. You can rewind time to solve block puzzles and fight enemies

The music is just amazing!

But the gameplay instead feels a bit unrewarding because there is no point in shooting.

Maybe a score system or simply the possibility to hit the cubes and fail would improve the game a lot.
The general idea is very creative!

I like the core mechanic a lot,

but it is possible to get stuck. A walk animation would do a lot too!

In general the  game is fun to play

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I plan to work more on the game in the near future!

The game looks just amazing. The cutscene right after the start, the story are great!

The gameplay takes a while to get used to it. A tutorial could help.

I think your idea is very creative and executed well!

The music helps with the great settiing.

Only thing I saw is that the settings button seems not to work. that confused me a bit

Overall your game is fun to play and looks great!

The art looks great! You implemented interesting mechanics and made the rewinding part of gameplay and the story and I think thats great!

The music loop is a bit too short and gets repetitive fast but thats just a small point.

Great game overall!

The graphics look just great.

But the shooting is not working properly and there is no real point to fight because you could just walk through the enemies. The story was nice!

If you want to, you can play my game

Its a dungeon crawler/ rogue like

I liked  the story a lot! The music fits perfectly into the scene.

The only issue is the camera because it gets blocked by walls sometimes.

I would say you did a good job!

The game is fun and challenging and I don´t have much. The rewinding is very creative!

(1 edit)

As you said, it does not fit the theme.
Besides that, it is well made and challenging but not unfair.

The audio and graphics are nice!

People already mentioned the jump and I think I don´t have to add more to that.

I would say that you could maybe add some form of level transition to make the game look a bit more smooth.
