I liked it but the camera and the speed of the text was to fast. Overall I enjoyed playing it.

Seems like you really crafted it from your heart. :)
The environment was well designed, simple but effective. I found the models cute, and surprisingly, good enough to convey the feelings of the story; though that may also be due to the music.
The player and camera movement felt a bit shaky at times.
Nonetheless, it was a really sweet story and told in a beautiful way as well, considering you had only a week to do it.
Unfortunately, I got stuck after the first level (https://ibb.co/nw6tFVg). Tried reloading the game, but it didn't help.
Anyway, the following is based on the first level, which works fine for me. The game is touching and I understood what the game is about without even playing it fully.
I have some suggestions, If you don't mind:
- As said before, there was some weird camera behaviour, when it got behind the walls and other obstacles. You may want to improve the camera movement;
- Make doors wider. Usually, doors in third-person games are made 1.5x or even 2x wider than it is in reality. It may not be quite realistic, but it is more comfortable for the player. It prevents the player from getting stuck;
- I experienced some stuttering when moving the character. Maybe this is because of my PC and has nothing to do with the game itself.
P.S. If you wish, you could make another build (or even browser build), so I could play the rest of the game and add to my feedback.
Yeah, I wish we could have fixed those camera and movement issues, but we ran out of time due to the game's scope.
Okay, as I see, you got stuck in the tunnel, try to move forwards and to the right at the same time, this could probably fix it. The thing is, the game seemed to be too big to be able to upload correctly onto itch.io as a browser build.
Tell us if you were able to continue onto the next level, and sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for the feedback!
Touching game, could use some camera improvements. on first level camera tends to go behind walls a lot.
The game was very touching! I really liked the little details on the first level, for example the room on the way to your own. There could be improvements in getting through doors (or at least I had a bit of trouble :D) and how the camera follows next to walls so it doesn't show the other side. Overall, a very nice game! Well done!
The story was quite emotional and a great way of story telling. I really liked the game. I would also expect a full fledged release. So, awesome game. I really liked it.
Could you please take the time to rate y game too? Its not as good as yours but it would mean a lot to me if you rated it.
Insanely touching game!
However i would sugest working a bit more on that movement (after rewinding) since the character feels out of controll at times.
In general a great game whith a good story as well as nice sound effects.
Great take on the theme! It was pretty exciting to go back into time to see what her life was like, really cool idea. I think one thing to improve would be giving some feedback when picking up things. I was never a 100% sure if I really had picked up the things like the medicine or the microphone. The biggest enemy at times was the camera as some walls completely blocked the vision, but I guess you already know that much :P But all in all a nice experience!
That's a nice game! I would love to see more of it! The story is good and I particularly liked rewinding the timeline.
The controls might need to be tweaked a little bit and the camera is sometime clipping inside walls. Also the first door (to the room) is too small.
Overall, there are small issues that did not impede the gameplay too much. Keep up the good work!
Great job, Although linear graphics adventures are not my favourite type of game, this game is well done and really good.
You should try to fix the first person camera, and the controls a little bit. Also, try fixing everyones neck, because they are broken (you might need an exorcist for that)
Overall, good job :D
Very unique and original game. This is a unique approach to the theme 'rewind' that I haven't seen in any other game of the jam. With some more time I would improve the controls and camera to improve the player experience, right now the controls are not very responsive and is difficult to read the dialogues when not in 3rd person. Other than this, great job.
Hey, I've downloaded and ready to play, but I'm feeling a bit dumb cause I'm not sure what I'm meant to do. I went to the counter and pressed E to get the pills, and then the other nurse has gone to the stairs and I followed him there where he said my family would be there soon, but I'm not sure what else to do currently. I went and watched TV for a bit (a nice touch haha, even though its maybe a bit out of place with the rest of the environment). If you can give me some hints of what to do I'll play further through and then give you a rate/review/feedback :)
Ah okay, I got it working that time! I didn't see the cylinder there the first time I guess.
Okay, wow! Very ambitious game for a game jam! I'm impressed with what you got done! Reminded me a lot of To The Moon, a game which I really like.
Things I liked:
>Very unique for a game jam game! I definitely didn't expect to play a game like this, so thank you!
>The graphics were nice and cute
>Audio was peaceful and poignant, perfect for a game like this; i liked the banjo-kazooie style mumbling voices with the dialogue boxes too
Things to improve:
>The camera went behind walls a bit, particularly in enclosed spaces like rooms. Perhaps this is why i missed the cylinder to start off with. Some of the dialogue got cut off a bit in one piece (i think in 1943) due to the camera not being aligned correctly, but that wasn't a big issue.
>Movement was a bit slidy/sluggish; I dont think you want it faster in a game like this, but the slidey-ness made sense when Grace was in a wheelchair, but less so when she was walking around.
The scope is really large for a game jam! I think it is hard to make enough content to make us feel for someone we've only met minutes ago, I think you did a really good job, but the task is really hard, some parts weren't quite as impactful as others, but I think you did a good job!
Really appreciated it! Well done!
wow that's amazing hahaha i knew it had it's flaws but i wasn't thinking it was that good thanks hrhe
In the next version we'll try to polish some things like the movement and camera, also we would like to make tha path clearer, since a lot of people got a bit stuck at the begining and maybe add some story chapters that we had to cut out due to time restrictions.
Thanks a lot hehehe you really made our day :)
I liked the story a lot! The music fits perfectly into the scene.
The only issue is the camera because it gets blocked by walls sometimes.
Fun little story, though it could use a conclusion :^)
Good job making this, it was very lovely! Hope you had fun doing it as well!! ^^
wow great story. love this one :) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722946 will check out my one.
The story was so great! Made me feel imersed during all the gameplay. The only issue is the camera. Polish that and game will be even better! (the visuals are great too)
Great job!
Good job, the music was minimalist yet spot on and the story was well written. Probably not a huge fan of the sound effects and the controls, though. Also, might wanna fix the camera since I ran into a lot of clipping issues, and the Pause menu does not lock the cursor :) Nonetheless, it's a good take on a touchy story! Keep it up!!
Wow! This is a really ambitious game, and what a fantastic concept! Though some of the text can be hard to read at times in first person, I enjoyed exploring the levels and seeing different dialogue throughout the game. The controls are a little hard to get right, but it's clear this game is more about the experience, which is certainly delivers well
