This seems to happen for some Godot games (The ones that require ShareArrayBuffer) when you go through the Randomizer.

Top notch art, really loved the concept.

Loved using the trees to spread fire and block villagers from using the well with the tar :)

Butter and waffles, what's not to like! Being able to modify the level to get around is a really cool mechanic that you should keep building around I think. You could add more ingredients and build different things by combining them - just an idea :D

And you are absolutly right on the buffs - My initial plan was that when connecting a mushroom, you would get to choose a buff (Either boosting the player, the mycelium or the core mushroom).

I completly agree with your comments. A visual indicator of some kind would be really good when connecting a mushroom. I do have a counter below the mushroom power bar, but its very hard to see.

I had planned for "vampire suvivors-like" upgrade system, which I included in the GDD, but I didn't have time to complete that.

Played it for a bit and it was smooth. 

If anything, I would have the player start with the gun instead of the repair tool.

The art style is very nice and the gameplay is very smooth.

I couldn't tell if leveling up actually did anything though and the monsters stopped spawning at around the 4 minutes mark for me.

Small patch: 

Made the main mushroom a different color and made it easier to connect to other mushrooms.
