Guessing that everyone in here is already aware of this (and probably pledged already) but thought I would share the current Kickstarter link.

The preview link has a couple of really cool generators!

This is a really cool concept, and the way that you leveraged the features of the actual Coinside to play a role in the scenario is really effective. It has a very creepy feel, and at the same time a lot of different possibilities to explore and different ways for the PCs to respond to what is happening. Nice!

Thanks! I love the idea of collectors/museums as an additional faction. I also think the idea of losing/misplacing the coin is interesting, as that is so possible and yet wouldn't satisfy many of the forces at play--how do you produce something you don't have anymore? Also like the idea of a religious cult centered around physical money. A plausible extension of the "Gospel of Wealth" to be sure.

The interesting NPCs and potential conflicting motivations means that this spark could be a single-session or campaign-defining adventure, and the elements fit an adventure anywhere in between. The mechanics of the coin and the difficulty of discovering the nature of the plan mean that a climactic showdown is likely, and the stakes are obviously very high.

The concept of giant constructs moving through the world on unknown business is a fascinating disruption and an engaging premise. I particularly liked how the spark was structured based on player choices, making it easy to have a sense of some possible pathways they might choose and how to respond, rather than framing these as specific scenes that need to play out in a particular way.

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for putting this together! I had a couple of questions that I wanted to ask.

First, do submissions need to include polished layouts or artwork? Can they be just the text?

Second, do the submissions need to be fantasy-themed? Are other genres ok, so long as they are system-agnostic?

Thanks!

Also, to the community, what games or systems do people have in the back of their mind as they are creating? What systems do people like or run in their home games?
