Everything was super polished! Visuals are great and the Menu animations were a nice touch. Great job!

Loved the scoreboard system, though I may have gotten carried away and crowded it a bit with my scores. (sorry). Absolutely LOVED playing this. So far, I think this game has been my favorite to play. Amazing job.

Thank you! Your kind feedback is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Thanks! much appreciated

Yeah I was hoping to add some music, but I didn't budget my time very well.

I really wanted to add one, but I wasn't able to get to it in time. Maybe an update will have some music

Great game! I predict it's gonna be at least top 5.

Fun game! Most fun I've had with a clicker game

Great implementation of the theme. It was really fun, but sometimes Bally got stuck on a corner and I'd have to reload the page.

It took me a while to figure out the bash and charge jump, but once I did it was pretty fun. The q to meow was a fun touch as well.

Thanks so much! I hope it was fun despite the flaws

All round solid game! Smart implementation of both the theme and SO! Sadly "Mario" wasn't one of the words associated with plumber.

Thank you! I had a friend do the voice lines, which he really enjoyed.

I totally understand how confusing the game can be, but I hope you enjoyed it, nonetheless. I had a friend do the voice acting and he really breathed life into the game. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! I will definitely take all this feedback into consideration for future updates. From making the game more understandable to quality-of-life features.

Thank you! I previously had a skip button for the dialogue, but it introduced a bunch of bugs, so my quick fix was to skip on a timer. Nice job beating Doug!

Some of it is my artwork, but I had a friend draw the cards. Thanks for the feedback! I realize now that the visual communication of what's happening is pretty lacking, but I hope it didn't make it too confusing.

Thank you! I'm so glad you were able to figure it out

Was there only one level or was I just too stupid to figure out the level selection

Not sure I fully grasped it, but I did make it to the white house. I really enjoyed it!

(1 edit)

Please watch before playing, to get a grasp of the game

Thank you! I appreciate it!

Thank you! My friend will be very happy to hear you enjoyed his music!

Yeah, I realized it might be a bit floaty. Thanks for the critique and the high praise!

Okay. Thanks!

Thank you! And the "buttons" really are just buttons, I couldn't come up with any lore or flavor for them. They're there purely for gameplay purposes.

The platforming was very challenging for me, I couldn't get past the 2nd level, but I loved the music and retro/hand drawn look.

A very chill experience. I loved the game's aesthetics. I did run into a few bugs, like being unable to disperse smoke and not advancing to the next level after getting the light to hit the button. But quite enjoyable overall.

This was a great experience. It's hilarious how similar both our games' mechanics are! But since yours has a cat, it is the superior game. Here's to your game's success!

This game was a blast. Though I had a hard time spotting the smoke, but was able to guess right for ten people straight (including a demon)! Sadly even with this streak, I still failed and was fired. How many people do you need to examine before you win?

Great game, but I feel there should be a good ending if you answer every question right. Unless there already is one and I'm just bad.

Impressive that you added a level editor to a game jam game! I would have liked to know when I had successfully completed a puzzle, and the sfx was a little jarring, but nice job!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! I hope the flickering wasn't too annoying. It was my first time making a puzzle game, so I hope I made the puzzles challenging enough.

I lost at the boss, but it was a very enjoyable dungeon crawler. Loved the slime enemy's attacks, but I would cry whenever I saw more than one of the wizards.

There were a couple glitches here and there, but it wasn't too bad thanks to the restart option. Fun game overall!

I couldn't seem to burn the massive wood plank blocking the way forward.

Really beautiful looking game! The platforming was an interesting part of the game, since you couldn't move horizontally after jumping, relying on the velocity you've accumulated beforehand.
