Love the audio, music, and art! It took me a moment to understand the gameplay, though the tutorial definitely helped!

Good entry. good job on the visuals and voice lines. tutorial to long game isnt that complicated. also kinda random :v

Very good ambiance and graphics

Really cool visuals, ambience and voice acting! The game has lots of personality!
it could use a bit more polish though, like how the tutorial UI isn't centered on to the camera or how my score randomly doesnt go up if I win a round.

But I can see a really cool idea for a game here!

Thanks so much! I hope it was fun despite the flaws

At first, I tried to play and didn't understand. Then I launched the tutorial and everything made sense.

Then again, I played the game and was confused, I think its not always clearly communicated what card won and what player won rounds, or maybe it's just me...

Loved the ambiance and voice acting tho ;) !

Developer

I totally understand how confusing the game can be, but I hope you enjoyed it, nonetheless. I had a friend do the voice acting and he really breathed life into the game. Thanks for playing!

Great fit with the theme and SO. I felt like it was too random tbh. Bonus points for voicelines. The visual presentation wasn't great, but the artwork was. Is that yours?

Developer

Some of it is my artwork, but I had a friend draw the cards. Thanks for the feedback! I realize now that the visual communication of what's happening is pretty lacking, but I hope it didn't make it too confusing.

Nice work, love the atmosphere! For me the UI is off (incorrect position/size) unless in full-screen mode. The music restarting when pressing play can be pretty jarring imo, while the stopping after pressing the tutorial button is a nice touch. The card turning/revealing feels slow, especially with adding up/updating the score being instant. It could be worth trying out revealing each pair of cards individually instead of all 3 pairs revealing at once. Looking forward to seeing where you take the game from here!

Thanks for playing! I will definitely take all this feedback into consideration for future updates. From making the game more understandable to quality-of-life features.

Thank you! I had a friend do the voice lines, which he really enjoyed.

The game has a nice spooky charm to it. The tutorial helped explain the game, but I found it a bit slow because you can't skip through the dialog. I handily beat Doug on my first try :D Nice  job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I previously had a skip button for the dialogue, but it introduced a bunch of bugs, so my quick fix was to skip on a timer. Nice job beating Doug!

I can tell you had fun making this, it has a lot of personality, especially the dialogue. Neat card game too, but a little confusing when you swap since there's no visuals to say that you have. Great job :)

Thank you! I'm so glad you were able to figure it out
