Thanks for the feedback!

The dialog boxes are supposed to be right next to the airport. It seems that playing in full-screen resolves this issue :)

I'm interested that multiple people seem to be having trouble moving through the map. Did you zoom all the way out and use the shift key to move faster? I'm asking because it's supposed to be possible to put the entire map in frame.

Oof! I didn't even think of the poor touchpad folks. People should definitely play this with a mouse!

I love games that focus on a single mechanic taken to its logical conclusion. Level 12 actually made me stop and grab some scrap paper to figure it out :)

I had to fight myself and then it counted as losing a heart when I 'lost' :( Great game though

Cool and polished game. I like the twist that a new map starts every time you die. I am on wave 42 and counting :)

I'm gonna be honest with you: I have no idea how the hell you managed to fit all of this into a one week jam, but I'm glad you did. One of the most fun games I've played so far!

I love your art style and the music is very funky. Maybe I'm just bad but I did think the game was very difficult. Also, is the picking/dropping supposed to work like this or is it bugged?
Either way I think it's already pretty fun as is, and has a lot more potential!

Thanks, I liked yours too!

Already rated it a while ago :)

I like the art style and the controller felt very well polished (especially for a jam game!). The connection to the theme is a little unoriginal, but it's hard to come up with something for this theme.
It's a cool game!

9/10 could have used a bit more bloom

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely have trouble picking the right difficulty sometimes...

Thanks for the feedback!

Seems incredibly polished for a game jam game! I love your art style and music. And I did find the final boss!

I think some of the character abilities are a bit overpowered (shotgun and grappling hook both allow you to skip huge parts of the level)

It's a fun idea though and it plays quite well. A nice twist on a platformer.

The camera and character controller are a bit clunky. For example, it is possible to 'cheat' at a lot of the levels by jumping up walls and clipping the camera.
I do think it's a cool concept with your character having so many different abilities. I'm in awe that you managed to implement all of this in just a week.

The pacing felt a little too slow for a fighting game but overall it's quite good. The art is cool and the combo system is entertaining enough to make whittling down the enemies' long healthbars fun :)

"In your pasing light the way" haha
Great game, it's a very clever mechanic. Just a random idea: I think it would be really cool if at the end of the game you could revisit the levels and see them fully lit up, so you could see all of the stuff you missed.

This is such a beatiful game! It's one of my favourites so far

I think it could use a bit more work but it's a cool idea for a game

👍

The graphics look awesome and overall the game is very polished. I do think it's a bit annoying that you can die and leave your gun in the middle of nowhere, making it hard to make progress.
Overall though it's a cool game and I wish there were more levels.

Very cute! I love the music at the random reincarnation machine it really gets you hyped

It's a cute little game. I think it's a shame you didn't have the time to polish it more.

The music is lowkey really good and you made a lot of good art assets for such a short amount of time. IMO the game feels a little unfinished. I would have liked if you added some more stuff to it and made the character controller a bit more responsive.
Definitely a cool story though.

It's a clever concept that fits the theme perfectly. The graphics are simple but not ugly and I like the music a lot :). And I like that you somehow took the time to make plenty of levels. Definitely one of the better games I've seen so far!

Creative interpretation of the theme! Gameplay-wise it's not much but I'm impressed you managed to make such a relatively polished game in a short amount of time.
