Really digging the ambience, and it's got a very creative gameplay loop!  It gives me lavender town vibes in all the right ways.

This game felt fresh! I really enjoyed the art style and the idea behind lighting your way throughout the world.

That is an amazing game, the Idea was really good and I really liked the pixel art too, the movement is very nice. overall great game.

I really liked the game ! There are some things here and there like the player movement feeling too "smooth" (maybe try using GetAxisRow instead of just GetAxis), or the sign that can collide with the player (i think that putting it as a background object would be better) or the music not looping if you take a long time to play the level. Also, don't forget a jump animation ! Otherwise, great game, i liked it.

PS:  Could you rate my game ?

Hey, cool game! I really liked the Gameboy aesthetic! There were a couple of things I noticed, though. The hitboxes are pretty strict, so it's kind of difficult to sneak by enemies. One of the spikes I encountered (third level I think) didn't kill the player. Also, if an enemy hit you twice before you died, the fade-out animation would play twice in a row. (I also think the signs should have been walkable, but that might just be a design choice). Nice work on the game, though. I enjoyed it.

By far my favorite game mechanic in this jam! Hopefully you continue development into this topic, would love to see how you develop it.

First of all this is an incredible use of the theme.  Dark and creepy with great music and visuals.  Only negative I can say is there is no menu (or at least not one I could find) while playing the game so I had to Ctrl+Alt+Del to exit.   Otherwise, great job!

Hey really love the artistic direction for this one. Fun but had one bug where the music stopped I think because I was taking to long on the level lol. Cool job!

yup! i'm aware of this - sadly when i exported the webgl build it took too long to export and I couldn't submit it (the webgl build fixed a bunch of bugs including that one). Guess it's my fault for doing all of a game jam on one day!

"In your pasing light the way" haha
Great game, it's a very clever mechanic. Just a random idea: I think it would be really cool if at the end of the game you could revisit the levels and see them fully lit up, so you could see all of the stuff you missed.

Thats a great idea! im planning on fixing a lot of ideas i missed since I only got one day to make this game it got really rushed by the end of development.
