Thank you 4 playing and your good feedback.
Yes you are with your feedback 1 about the balancing. In my own playtesting the canister for the flamethrower dropped too often and the green for life too less so i changed that. The gun fire is weak yes and same here i wanted to give the player the "real" experience whats happens when you shot a zombie... it just keeps on walking ;) ... your absolutly right its not balanced
To the second piece of feedback I have also to say yes you re right again but this approach was on purpose cause i wanted to get feedback to this from others playing. I had never really seen such an WASD controll and wanted to see if maybe ppl would like it... or not ;)
Again many many thanks 4 your feedback and playing my lil demo game
really really nice approach... love the painted figures and houses... only first improving words from my side would be to change the selection color (White on whitely ground keep me confused if i selected anything ;) ) and the other thing is that you maybe give these lovly figures some more animations :)
Thanks for playing and commenting :)
Yes i played around with shaders and special particle effects the first time in my "dev-history"... my kids loved the flamethrower burning right through the zombies.
Maybe you only killed 20 also cause of the sucking webGL version, i had to reduce the size immensely and that killed the playfeeling. So i also recommend the pc version for another try :) maybe then you will find patient zero :)
Thanks for playing and commenting... the obstacles blocking vision problem and the feel of shooting is different in the PC version.... the WebGL version suck because of the things you rightly criticized... thats why i recommend the pc version instead in the description.
But you are right i need to balance maybe.
found LootLocker on YT with an explination how to set it up in 5 steps but didnt get it working totally so i searched for about 3 hours from A to B to C back to A and so on (in german you would call me a "Trüffelschwein" an truffle pig, research till getting mad or finally finding whats needed)
solution was that the tutorial uses coroutines and i did not in the howl game ( still learning beginner hobbist since June 2022, no idea of C, or C# and any Engine before only VBA knowledge) if you like i can give you access to the project files, already would have done in the jam if I only knew how to get the github running (my only backup is an external drive XD saving manually)
but be aware my code style is (in my opinion) a real mess XD
PS: this was the YT link: "http://youtu.be/u8llsk7FoYg" no real link else this commentaries would be captured completely :)
