I bumped into this problem few more times and decided to check what's going on and apparently you need to set some setting for embedding game with itch.io player(sorry for big screenshot)

P.S.(yes I was using windows 10 and chrome so that shouldnt be the cause)


Unfortunately, I wasnt able to play the game...

Cute little game) Unfortunately the game crashes after first death( And its so sad that the music only starts playing after death. Although I dont see anyone else saying this so maybe its just me. I attached a screenshot if it is of any help to you.

Cool game, creates  aesthetic of being alone and little dialogs provide sense of last stand against something/someone. Really cool that you can get peek outside the map)) Its a shame that game crashes after completing sattelite dish.. Would have played it all the way through otherwise!  

Thanks for encouragement! I'm currently implementing everything i originally wanted and polishing a bit. Planning to update after voting is over:) Another project to add to resume is never a bad thing right haha. Will try to experiment with sounds for sure. I will let you know when I release decently polished version if you are interested! Once again thanks, hope to see you in some other jams sometime!

I really liked it, the theme of last stand is persistent throughout gameplay. Game overall is polished and feels nice. Took me few tries to figure out that you can infact fix walls which is great addition. Addition of leaderboard is also really cool. Great job!

Hey, it is a bit strange that you wasnt able to play the game. The three fruits are buttons that generate main level of different difficulty(size of the map). Did you try clicking on fruits and the game didnt respond?

P.S. I found the problem. It didnt show up for me since all the assets were cached throughout my testing of generation system. But if you try to generate 2 or 3 difficulty first few times it will take a lot of time and wont show any signs of progress until its done. So thats why game was unresponsive for you. Try waiting 10-20 seconds after you click on the button for the level to load. I will take this into account for any of my next games to give user visual indication of loading progress.

Hey, thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it. Yeah, this is my first gamejam and i started really late so only had 2-3 days for everything. I do know that overall mechanics of fruit throwing / catching are not great but I didnt have time to polish them to be intuitive for player. Im fairly  bad at visual side of things yet(You could tell from how UI looks, tho I added it in the last hour) so it decreases quailty of the game significantly. I will take it into account for my next project and improve on it. Thank you for your time
