I played it for about 40 mins, trying to get on the high score list. I kept getting so close with about 700. Maybe the most fun game of all the submissions! The game loop and high score list being hard to get on got me sucked in. Nice.

Thank you, much appreciated!

We both made raft repairing games!

I rated and left a comment, fun little game :)

Cute game, I wish the controls were a little better (like it should start moving you when you click, instead of when you let go of the click) but it's got a nice theme and the graphics and sounds are fun! Good job

Thanks! Usually my games have intense music so it was fun to do one with silly chill music and a relaxed vibe

Thanks! I agree the game loop is the weakest part. But by the time the water is overtaking the trees, the idea is that you'd have a raft assembled and be standing on it. I added the sharks ability to destroy/shrink the boxes later on, so maybe it's too powerful and so the raft gets destroyed too easily. And maybe the setup time before the water starts rising is too long, and it rises too slowly. These are the things I was working on when the timer ran out!

Anyway, glad you liked the aesthetic and music and stuff! The island is cool, it's a fun place to hang out :)

The screenshots remind me of the graphics in Yoshi's Story for the N64, cool style

Nice. I finished 95% of what I wanted to do with my game, another few hours would've been perfect. I actually didn't start until12 hours in.

I also have a cursed sleep schedule now so I can relate, fell asleep at 3pm after submitting my game and waking at 2am... oof. Time to make coffee.

No worries, it's a game jam after all. I had the same issue with my game, there's still some timing stuff that I could fix with more time to make changes. For your game, I think if the enemies were simply less accurate with their gunfire it would help, also maybe they could shoot 1/2 as often, and if they had a larger hitbox so they were easier to hit. Anyway, cool game overall, nicely done.

5:13 first playthrough, fun game!

Flying this feels like flying a real drone, the motion and controls represent that very well. The atmosphere is neat. I had so much trouble killing even just 1 enemy though

Very cool atmosphere, I could see this being expanded in to a full game like Phasmophobia. I wish the camera lag was faster to the mouse movement, it was making me kind of motion sick. I love the core concept and the old-school 1980s game "turn and look" movement style, definitely stands out from the rest of the games

I spent about 35 of the 72 hours working on my game Flotsam Island. Then after turning it in I slept for 12 hours, ha. How about you guys?

Thank you! I spent a while modeling, animating, and programming the shark and boat. Your game is fun, it has some nice worldbuilding

Unique game, feels filled out for just a 72 hour jam. Nice!

Thanks! I just rated your game, it was a lot of fun to play!

Fun to play! Good core gameloop and graphics that are entertaining. Nice entry!

Wow it's beautiful! Nice artwork.

Nice job! That is cutting it close, haha. I had 13 minutes on mine, I had to abandon a feature of adding your initials next to the high score entries at the last minute to make sure I'd get it in on time. Congrats to the 131 who pulled it off.

Done! Nice game, thanks for sharing it. I like the graphics and sound combo, it's got a memorable look. The buildings on the sides framing the play area look cool too.

Fun game, the graphics and the theme are put together well. I wish the enemies had more path variety, or that I could detonate the bomb when I want to by pressing a key so I could save it for important moments to defend my balloon. But definitely not bad for a game made in 72 hours. Nice work. I got 12,600 points.

This game has a nice Super Mario World (SNES) sort of feel to it. And the gameplay is pretty smooth, everything works basically like you'd expect. I got 9mins 27sec on my first try. Thanks for making it!

I got to 34 points. I love the different types of ships with different steering. Great graphics. Nice game!
