Definitely will in the next roguelike I put out, but this one is on pause at the moment. Thank you for playing though!

WASD and arrows both prevent you from being able to move diagonally- this layout is traditional to roguelikes and is common in the genre. I was considering adding arrow support for noobs but never got around to it lol

It's janky and unfinished, but if anyone would like to try out my tiny low-bit dungeon crawler, I'd be grateful for the feedback! LMK what you think: https://shrubino.itch.io/animal-kingdom

Really nice platformer, the controls were zippy and floaty, reminded me of some of the more puzzley levels of something like  vvvvvv or celeste. Only thing is level design ended up being a lot of back and forth, but still pretty satisfying

Very nice style and efficiency- the simplicty was doing exactly what it needed to. Not the most exciting game but a cool concept nevertheless

Cool looking assets but I basically couldn't get anything to work other than building a tank. Could be a good start though!

Fun idea, simple controls, unplayably difficult. In this case, simplicity meant that there are un-solvable obstacles that prevent you from winning in most runs

Maybe I was dealing with bugs, but the text was all garbled (if that's a stylistic choice, it didn't work for me) and controls seemed all over the place. Couldn't play it for more than a few levels before getting fed up with the mechanics and controls

Unplayably slow -- at first I thought my game was broken but I realized the character was just moving across the screen too slowly. Not worth playing at this pace

Controls don't quite flow and collision is clunky, but otherwise a fun idea and execution. Would love to see more in the future - different enemies, weapons, play styles come to mind.

I agreed that the controls were not intuitive -- at first, I didn't realize my mouse was required. Once I got the hang of things, though, the game surprised me with interesting mechanics and puzzles. Definitely well worth the time to play and lots of fun

Really really cool stuff -- my only nitpick is that it's tough to keep track of turns and health while focusing on the dodging -- may need some rethink on how to display that info more clearly on the peripherals, but I know it's a tricky balance. Could also benefit from a dash feature and like others said, more variety in the combat. still, it's an impressive product for a game jam!

Love the idea, agree with the comments that say the controls need more precision for the level design. Also, the flow is a bit interrupted by regularly needing to go back and forth between the fruits and the scale, and adding up the fruit math in my head was not exactly intuitive. Maybe better to use whole numbers for the weights?

Agreed with all of the positive comments- polished art style, loved the music, really creative concept. As for cons, I'd say it doesn't quite fit the theme and the difficulty scales up too slowly to really hook you in. Still, the chaos at the end is fun!

Fun idea but a bit glitchy with the player sprites and scaling up of the lower-res sun. After the first few asteroids, I couldn't find any others before time ran out, so it might benefit from a tracker or zoom out feature. Still, fun to manage resources and the movement was zippy.
