Kudos for attempting to build a rhythm game. They can be very hard to tune and effectively pull off.

The screenshot for the game really got my hyped for the graphics in the game. The background looks really amazing. I was less hyped when I saw the really blocky and plain characters against the lush background. It would be nice to see a version of this with animated characters, or cool shape shader effects.

The gameplay is a fun idea, but it feels a bit clunky. It's pretty hard to figure out how to effectively use the tools at your disposal, and the timing between when your character moves and when the enemies move doesn't quite feel like they line up with the rhythm correctly.

Including a level editor in the game is really neat, and very rare from what I have seen in game jams.

This game has some of the most polished gameplay and level design of any of the games this jam.

Graphically, I really like the Fox, and the way he rotates his head when you move his feet. The textured grass also looks very nice. It would have been nice to see a cooler backdrop that had a bit more depth.

The music track is really good. This game has the 2nd best music. It would be nice to have more sound effects to really give the player more feedback and bring the world to life.

The humor and 4th-wall commentary is pretty fun.

Gameplay wise, it would be been nice to communicate more clearly to the player what controls are available, and what the signs do. Those aren't the most discoverable. I didn't realize they were checkpoints until after full-level restarts a whole bunch of times.

Also, be nice to power-gamers and give them a button to fast-forward or skip dialogue if they like. Especially for repeat playthroughs.

The mechanic is clean and tight. Very nice jam game design for 1 day.

It would have been fun to see the idea expanded on a little further. How would the game get more difficult? What would other level layouts have been like?

The graphics are very much programmer graphics. It would have been fun to have characters with a little more visible personality, or maybe they are on a cake, and trying to eat candies. A few simple well-chosen sprites could give a lot more flavor and inspire player imagination.

The Yeti-chasing sound hurts my ears.
