This is such a good walkthrough! I believe this would help the other players a lot.
Tysm for playing this game and featuring it in your video :D
I can give you a bit of hint:
Yes the hashtag symbol next to the heart is a “sharp” in music! So it means the black key to the right of the “heart” key.
And the piano puzzle is the last puzzle. You’ll have to gather all the symbols from other puzzles and find the sheet music before the piano puzzle.
Hope this helps and feel free to ask me questions if you’re still stuck. Good luck :D
This is a nice little game with simple mechanics but very fun to play with. The art looks good and neat as well. The only drawback would be the background music cuz I think the frequency is a bit too high at some point. But overall it's a very good game and I think it'd be a nice idea to port it into a mobile game as it's simple but can be very addictive haha. Good Job! (btw I'm quite interested in your videos on YouTube so I've just subscribed to your channel :))
Thanks for your nice advice! Yeah, I also agree it'd be better to make a return button for each task just in case people are stuck and would like to do other tasks first. Also, we didn't have time to make in-game instructions so we put them into the description instead, so maybe you've missed it. Anyways, thank you so much for your comment and have a nice day!
Wow, this game is well polished. It's like I'm player Overcooked but this is specially designed for single-player. The instructions are clear and I had so much fun with this game. The only drawback would be the scaling problem, cuz it's still zoomed in a bit even when I expand it to fullscreen, but luckily it didn't affect the experience a lot. Well done!
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, we noticed that as well after submitting the project, which is very disappointing, so we decided to make a playable version in a separate project. Here's the link if you'd like to try it out: https://silentknightgames.itch.io/kitchen-war-v2
Thank you so much for coming back to play our game and thanks for your feedback as well. I guess you're talking about the occasional pause of the music during the gameplay, right? It's actually supposed to be the stealth part of the game where your time limit will be shortened when you break the items while Mom is "pausing the music" she's listening to haha. But obviously, we didn't have enough time to make an instruction and some indicators, and the music was poorly selected, so it turns out to be very weird. We'll try to make the instruction in the description very soon, and maybe change the music and add some indicators after the jam. Anyways, thanks for reminding us about that. :D
Hello, other game jammers! Thanks for all your comments and support. We also noticed that the game doesn't run at the very last minute, which makes us very disappointed. Since we've put a lot of hard work and effort into the game and we'd still like to enjoy the game jam by interacting with other game jammers, we've published it again as another project. Though the ratings and rankings might not be valid, game jams are all about fun and improvements, right? So feel free to leave any kind of feedback. We're glad to rate your games and give you some comments as well.
So here's the link to the playable project: https://silentknightgames.itch.io/kitchen-war-v2
Thanks for your advice. Yeah, we used Unity to develop the game and this problem seems to happen quite often when using the 2020 versions, and I'm still not sure what exactly is happening. Also, they seem to have removed the loading icon at the beginning and sometimes I'm not sure if it's just because of the low loading speed or if there are other problems contributing to that. We'll definitely try your solution and see if it works. Thanks again ;)
Thank you for your appreciation and encouragement. We are thinking about making a new build after the game jam as uploads are locked at the moment. Alternatively, maybe we will try to upload it to a separate project. Though rankings and ratings may not be valid, we can still enjoy this game jam for a bit and allow people to play our game.
Thank you so much for your comment. We really do appreciate that. Very unfortunately, we noticed this problem at the last minute of the submission time, so we couldn't do anything about it. We're so disappointed to end up like this since we've spent a lot of effort on it and we stayed up all night yesterday for this game jam, not to mention this is our very first game jam. Anyways, we are glad to rate your game and leave some comments :)
