Thank you so much for the kind words. I've never actually played papers please, but it was an inspiration for sure. I'm glad that you felt the choices were impactful, I wasn't sure it would be all that convincing while I was writing it.

Thank you so much for playing and for the compliment! I don't work with 2d assets often so I'm glad the letters turned out okay.

Nice job on this one! The art style is simple but consistent and charming and I liked all the dialogue.

Great job. I'm really bad at platformers but I kept pushing myself so I could see more of the amazing art. I loved that you had those different game mode / mechanical variations which kept it interesting. I thought they were all pretty well done controls and pacing wise. I feel like you really captured that feeling of progressing through the body in the environments.

my feeling when I finally escaped after getting evaporated by some dudes plaque 15 times in a row:

Thank you for playing! Sorry about the bug. Yes I had that happen in an earlier build but I wasn't able to reproduce it. Glad you were able to complete the game anyway though. The dreams giving feedback on what happened in the day is something I really wish I could add. Also the ending!

Thank you so much for playing! I've never thought of myself as a writer, but I'm glad you found it convincing! I'm also feeling mixed about limiting your ability to give forgiveness. When I first thought of that feature I was worried that people's expectation of a father giving confession is that they forgive everyone. I wanted to create a situation where you had to choose who was most worthy of forgiveness which might make you think about morality a little bit. Looking back I think it could have been motivated in the story / setting a little better as well as maybe give you a choice to "over forgive" on one day if you really feel a strong need to, but then face consequences later.

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you liked the machine controls. I think if I would expand the game's mechanics, it would be there, but I was worried about the controls being too confusing or requiring a lot of tutorial. That and adding more mail and secrets to find. But you saying there's potential for extension makes me feel really happy!

Thank you so much for playing and for the compliments. I'm glad you got the metaphor in the setting! Wasn't too sure that would come through in the end.

Thanks so much for playing! I remember at some point in development I thought "maybe figuring out how these things works is part of the fun." I think there should be a little more nuance to that design philosophy looking back on it now lol. Thanks so much for the compliments on the art and sound. Watching your entry on stream showed a lot of care in these categories so this comment means a lot coming from you!

Thank you for this detailed reply! Reflecting on it now, I'm just glad the concept wasn't completely impenetrable to people. The guitar was one of the first assets to go in the game so I'm glad you liked it. I'm a (bad) guitarist as well!

Loved it! I think we converged on a similar setting and inspiration for our games. Was really fun to see your take on it! Had a lot of fun when I hit the emergency timer with 0.1 seconds left. I thought there were a hard to see packages but overall very well polished and executed,

Nice job cedric! I like the mechanics a lot. I think it was a really ambitious idea and I'm amazed you implemented all of this.

Thank you for the kind words. It was a struggle between making things creative but not push it so far that it would be confusing. Glad you were able to find a groove!

Really cool concept. I had a few bugs where I was stuck on a wall or I my position jittered on one screen. But really cool puzzles and execution. I also had a hard time seeing inside the square so I wish that was a bit more clear.

I am the bird. The bird is me. The bird is inside me. I am inside the bird.

Great job. I had a lot of fun. My only thought is that maybe the segments should be a little quicker and the socks were a bit hard for me to tell if they were inside out or not, but this sort of added to the struggle. Overall this guy and his beautiful voice are going to haunt all my future laundry days.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Nice job everyone. I thought it fit the theme very well to play someone both inside and outside.

Great job everyone! Art polish and VA was really nice. I also liked how each ability had it's situational strength.

Great job guys. I loved the cast of characters and their art. I did get stuck on one of the puzzles at first and had to reset. Not sure if there was a way out of this.

(read in noir detective voice) this game is as atmospheric as a diner at 1 am on a rainy Tuesday night... in black and white. A voice growls as a figure takes a long drag on his cigarette. I think to myself, "10/10 voice acting."

I just had a bunch of grad school interviews so this was very nice to decompress. Very cute art style. Great job!

I really liked all the juice you added. Actions felt very reactive and rewarding. I'm not much of a platformer player so I can't comment too much on the feel of the controls. I felt like I was getting the hang of it a couple levels in. Loved the art style. Feels really fun and inviting.

Thank you so much for this, it's super helpful. I had a few people get bugs around dialogue not working, but I think the way you described it I can understand why it happened now. And your two suggestions for the lights are great I think, especially the comment about the distant vs near visibility. It was no problem at all to upload an accessible build. You made it well worth it to me, thank you so much!

I had implemented a smoothing effect for the lighting, but it's disabled in the current build. I uploaded another build with it turned on. Also I turned off chromatic aberration and bloom as I saw people on social media saying that might help. I can't say for sure how well this will play or whether it will solve your issue,  but you're welcome to give it a shot. I understand if you don't want to risk it. The password is "freeze". https://sillychampion.itch.io/audio-phantom-photosensitive

I'm really sorry you couldn't play. Is there a term for your type of photosensitivity? I'm just curious to research what I could do in the future to accommodate it

Thank you! I think your feedback is right on. Platforming in the dark sounds a little silly in retrospect

Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm really happy with the artstyle as well. I was thinking how can I make the best looking realtime lighting on the browser and it was sort of a happy accident from there. I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay. I was worried people wouldn't see the connection to the theme. I'm really flattered you kept playing even with the fullscreen bug

Thank you! A dialogue skip feature was high on my backlog but I didn't get around to it. Regardless, I'm really happy you found it interesting. I would love to make a more exploratory visual game in the future.

Thank you! I'm sorry you had a hard time seeing. That's something I struggled with a lot as the amount of light is dependent on your movement and playstyle. Looking back now I think I should have prioritized a creative solution to this. I'm glad you found the art style interesting though! I'm glad you noticed the portraits. That's something I was really happy with as well.

Thank you! Glad you found it somewhat interesting. Hope you didn't fall too many times!

Thank you Cedric! That means a lot coming from you

Thank you!

Thank you! Don't feel bad about not finishing

Thank you for giving it a shot! Sorry you weren't able to progress more :(

Thank you so much! I wish I could have come up with a better solution for guiding the players. As the lights are tied to audio and movement I struggled with the fact that certain playstyles would end up getting lost more. I'm sorry I couldn't balance it for you. I like the name Charlie, that can be his official name :).

Thank you!

Reminds me a lot of classic flash games. Very on point with the theme.

Funny small game. Brought me back to some funny memories.

Very beautiful and polished. I felt the freezing and unfreezing paths was a little bit stale after a while. Overall a very enjoyable game.
