This is game is so cute!!!! and so inventive

Thank you for the game recommendation - I'll check out Tale of Scale for sure :D I'm a sucker for this style of "visual" puzzle haha. Looking forward to seeing future development on this project, keep up the amazing work!!

this is super cute!! I love the little mushrooms

Thank you so much for the kind words! I was going for toy-like diorama scenes, glad it resonated :D

Digging the concept so much like.. wizards and skateboarding?? Too cool :D The designs and pixel art really pop, it gives me the Nitrome-esque energy of being super dynamic and juicy. And Radcula is the best name ever. Would love to play this game!!

Thank you so much!! and the Grim definitely would love all your pets and treats

A super unique concept to come out from this jam - I'm excited to see where you take this project! It reminds me of one of the puzzles in Superliminal, but expanded upon and with its own twist in terms of Fine Art. Although it might just be for the mock-up, having the existing art as the subject is really clever, and the actual history behind the paintings and artists could be woven into the story beats.

Thank you so much! Yes I love the idea of little diorama slices of worlds :D

will give you a follow! excited to see how this game could unfold as you develop it :)

Thank you so much - I tried to go for a toy-like and calm atmosphere with the art, happy it resonated with you!

Thank you Paul!! I wish I had gotten around to creating a mock-up for the stats and customisation options - but glad it sounds like a promising idea :D

Thank you for the kind words :D

Love the palette you chose! Super clean and striking which matches the style. And I think the deeper concept behind the game about performativity is clever - it could even tie into a potential wrestling storymode :D

Super cool pixel art - I love all the different speeder designs you came up with (especially ostrich haha). This would make a fantastic multiplayer versus game!

Thank you so much! Glad the atmosphere and mood came through :)

TUNIC was definitely an inspiration - hahaha I'm glad it came through! thank you for the kind words :D

Thank you very much! I focused mostly on the art style so I'm glad it worked :)

Thank you - I had a lot of fun playing around with the colour themes for each image - wanted to make them feel as distinct as possible

Thank you so much!!

Such a fun concept and great execution with the visuals :D I love all the detail that's gone into the writing - it already helps to build the tone and get a sense of the world + characters we'll meet!

dummy addictive game - i love it :D

wish this was a real game! I love hedgehogs and the creepy-cute silly secrets are intriguing

I need a Beebo plushie now! This is such a cute mock-up - saw your progress throughout the jam via discord and was super excited to see the end submission :D

Really lovely old school, arcade-y feel with the Start Menu and side-scroll format - the little bounce of the ambulance is too cute

The art-style is so cute!! The palette really pops and works well with the pixel art. Looks like it would be a super fun and dynamic game

The inkcap fairy design is so pretty - using fungi as inspiration for the various characters is clever :D

I can't wait to see more of this project!

The art is fantastic - having seen the early sketches in the discord channel to the final work now is really cool!

As an axolotol fan and tamagotchi fan - I love this so much :D. The illustrations are super polished - well done!

These animations are so juicyyyy and dynamic! I especially love how the grain-y/dithering look pops on the still illustration! Was this effect hand-drawn or part of a post-processing effect?

Mothman doing the pose with his double arms is too cute >_<  - i wish this was real so I could see your other cryptid character designs! Is the green girl Nessie?

The concept of mixing-matching the candy core and wrapper is so creative! The art is fantastic as well

Super cool shader work - it makes me think of doodles in a sketchbook which definitely fits the goblin and zombie designs! The zombie screenshot in particular really pops with the light colours and dark lines

hahaha yes - procrastination got the better of me but I still really wanted to submit something :D

thank you so much! everything was made in blender,  except for the faces of the creatures, UI and speech bubbles which were drawn in Procreate

Visit the project page for full game description! The game mockups are below:

Love this so much! The design of the skill tree is fantastic, i love the use of collage + hand-drawn elements, and it all works so well together to create such a powerful atmosphere/theme...the word choices are so evocative too

This is such a lovely and detailed post- thank you so much for taking the time to play and give us all the feedback! A short hike is a lovely game and I defs drew inspiration from it for the overall atmosphere and design. Yeh we're thinking of a way to make the photo giving prompt more obvious and to make the dialogue reading a bit smoother - all your points are rlly valuable as we hope to polish this up post jam :D  We'd love to keep working on a bigger project similar to this, so it's super heartening to hear you enjoyed it

Saw this game on the stream today (i'm on a mac so didn't get a chance to play it myself) - but it looked amazing! Love the humour and the storyline, and the gameplay looked really fun and dynamic :D

This was suuuper cool - really enjoyed one of the most unique takes on a dungeon boss. At no point did i ever feel confused as to what I had to do next, even though there was minimal instruction, all the minigames and the upgrade system were so intuitive - really great implementation! Lovely art too and loved the touch of the apples in the dialogue

Thank you for playing and for the kind words :D

Thank you for playing and for the feedback :D we're definitely still figuring out movement in first person etc. and we think there might be a bug with the browser vers where the camera sens was way too high.
