Same issue here. It fixed itself when I left clicked, I think.

Hi, semi experienced Godot user here. You might wanna scale the UI elements down (when you scale them down, they can go into subpixels, unlike when you change their size to be smaller, which keeps them locked into the pixel grid). You might also wanna embed the PCK (in the export options) so that it doesn’t require extracting to play, and also export it as a web build for easier play.

Very cute game! It needs a lot of technical polish, a few improvements I can suggest is turning off texture filtering, adding canvas item resolution scaling, and maybe also adding more sound effects. I wasn’t able to tell when I was damaging enemies because there were no particles or sound effects for it. I almost forgot to mention that when pushing things, your character should move with the object you’re pushing. Like others mentioned, fixing the camera would be nice too. Despite all this, I really like the idea and even the gameplay that is already included here. I hope you do make it into a full game, I’d love to see it.

It would be nice if I could go in diagonals, and having sound effects would be nice too. But other than that, not bad.

The source code of this game isn’t actually on GitHub, it’s only some images. Also, the game wants administrator privileges when launched. Please fix.

Hi, since this is made with GameMaker, you might wanna add a web build, because as is, it’s very time consuming to try. Moreover, it seems like you forgot to remove some duplicate files from the zip containing the game.

This is really well done, it’s not the most original idea ever, but I really like the quality here. The keyboard controls would benefit from being less sensitive, but other than that it’s great.

Hi, for some reason I cannot open the zip after downloading the Windows version.

This is extremely well done! It’s a really really hard game, but so far all the games from this game jam that I’ve played are, including my own, so that’s fine. It’s very fun and I’d love to see an expanded idea of this

That was actually the point, the keybinds are bad on purpose
Still, thanks for the comment!

What does GMOTA even stand for?
