I had a couple ideas for creating a clear divide in the towns, but I took to long to get to it and didn't have enough time. I'll have to work on my time management more next time. Thanks for the feed back.
Also, I thought it might be too dark, but it work for me at the time, so I didn't bother with it. I'll mess around with the lighting though.

Lol, that's always fun.

Definitely, I think it's great you were able to make a game like this for your first, probably should have started with that. Good luck with the developing, and of course the learning.

Love the mechanic, it's really well done.

One technical issue I found, was that the blood splatter spawned in the sky when using the shotgun.

This is a pretty good concept, although I found that the levels didn't actually create any challenge. The only thing I had to do was swap when I hit a dead end. You also never really utilize the restart on death mechanic, the character goes back to the start, but it never really impacts the game, other than making you retrace your steps.

Also, it wasn't anything huge, but the switch prompt is displayed behind the background, so you can't actually see it. I already knew how to flip a switch, so it didn't really effect anything.

Overall you have a good mechanic, but the levels aren't really doing anything with it.

yes

It should be fixed.

I just checked it. Thanks for letting me know. They should just start walking towards a human. I'll upload a bug fix later today.

Your art looks fantastic, it actually reminds me of Castle Crashers, probably some of my favorite video game art.
I have a couple prototypes I've been working on in Unity. The first is a 2D, rogue like, side-scroller. And the other is a 2D or 3D(right now its 3D, but doesn't have to be), top-down, rogue like, stealth game. Right now they are just prototypes and are open to change. I'd love to get some help with the art and the concepts, let me know if you are interested. If you are I can also send you the prototypes.

If you'd like you can contact me on my Discord: Catbugpig#3278

I'd definitely be interested, I'd be able to help with the coding (in C#) and game design. Feel free to check out some of my projects https://splitscreen.itch.io/.
Also, what Jam were you thinking? Thanks.

Hello, my name is Jacob. I've been working on a small project that I plan to work on for the next month or two. Right now I've been working on it myself, but am hoping to get another hand on board to provide the art and to bounce ideas off of.

The game is a 2D, platformer,  rogue like, with some inspiration from "Pilgrims Progress", "Spelunky" and a couple other rogue likes and platformers. Right now I plan for it to be fairly simple, but I am open to different ideas and look forward to collaborating.

I can not pay, and have no expectations of earning anything. If later down the line it turns into something bigger than we can talk about charging, but I have no expectations except to make a good game.

Let me know if your interested and I can give you some more details.
You can also message me on Discord:

Hi, my name is Jacob. I'm working on a 2D party style game you can find more details and the project here:
https://splitscreen.itch.io/laser-tag-testing

This would not be paid work, although the goal is to have a completed game that we can sell. I was thinking for the art style, a 8-bit pixel, retro arcade style, something like that although I am open to other ideas. I'm excited to keep working on this project. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Thank you for your time.

I'm not looking for someone to hire. Sorry

Hey, my name is Jacob and I'm an experienced unity programmer and game designer looking for paid work. I've been developing games for 5 - 4 years now and I've worked with unity and C# for about a year and a half.

Stuff I've made: https://splitscreen.itch.io/

Sorry about the last minute request. Where Looking for someone who can help with adding textures and maybe create 3D models for the Weekly Game Jam 54. Right now the Idea I'm working on is a survival type game where you fight off Bad Memories with an "Amnesray" (Amnesia Ray). If you are interested please reply.

I was able to get some help so I don't need a 2D artist right now, but I'll let you know if anything else comes up.

Just sent you a friend request. My profile is Catbugpig#3278

Definitely, do you have a discord account?

Sorry for the short notice, but me and another programmer are doing the weekly Game Jam, or the Mini Jam depending on the theme, tomorrow and we still need an artist either 3D or 2D, doesn't matter.

Thank you.

Me and RaedTabani are doing the weekly Game jam tomorrow and we need an artist (3D or 2D), I'm about to make another post looking for an artist so if your interested reply their. Also do you have discord?

Hi my name is Jacob. I'm a unity C# programmer with some experience but a lot to learn. I am currently 16, and have been making games for 3-4 years, but only started using unity 1-2 years ago.

I'm specifically looking to make a party game. Looking for at least an artist, but another programmer would be nice. If you would like to, we can do a game jam. I'm mostly just looking to get some experience working with others.

One Chamber is a fun FPS party game. The goal, like most FPS games, is to get the most kills, but you also have to be careful when, and where you shoot, because when you shoot everyone shoots.

It is currently only a 2-player, but I am in the process of adding a 4-player function.

"The End is Nigh" is a simple 2D top down game. The goal is to survive as long as you can or get as many kills as you can with the "End" slowly closing in. Their are two game modes Kill were the goal is to kill as many as you can and Survive were you can not attack and must run. I also plan on making future updates like different maps and possibly online multiplayer.

please leave a comment if you have any questions.

Thank you for your time, hope you enjoy.

So far its great.

Can't wait to see what else you make.

Is their multiplayer?
