Almost everything is quite good for a demo, like the visuals and the merging item mechanic.
The jumping feels kind of weird; it feels more like you are accelerating vertically in the air.
I'm also not really sure if this is a bug, but i think this guy is trying to do something else than just grab me.

What i´m sure is a bug is that there's no music playing, based on what Vandal said.

Well, the physics are really slippery and hard to control, and the background cats are nice, but sometimes it is hard to see the difference between the background and the platforms (like this part).

Also, it will be pretty nice if there is any indication that you can jump in the air if you haven't jumped on a platform before (I'm pretty sure that other players couldn't have figured that out by themselves).

And i think that there is a better way to make a lighting effect without making the entire screen bright and dark every time I'm close to a torch. Like using a canvas modulate and assigning a point light 2D to every torch or something since you are using Godot.

I really don't have a lot to say about this game (because, well, this is a demo), but i can say that it is decent visually (maybe you could try making the background images even more shape like, like this or something).

And it has nice music.

Also i got a bit confused when i tried to advance in the dialog because i instantly forgot that it was the enter key (why not make the shift key also the key to advance in the dialog?).

I totally agree with you that it is kind of rough what it was supposed to be the puzzle where you needed to throw those suns to advance in the next room. And the lack of polish when you gain a new ability.

About what you said about the main menu being the only place where it plays music, I'm pretty sure that is a bug.

Ok now i updated the game so it will be hopefully more easier for everyone.

XD I literally burst out of laughing, i'll do a balance update when i have it done, idk but that frog really says everything:

Well looks like i'm still terrible at balancing games /: you were literally just one level to complete it.

For me (i think) it took me a while to use the controls, but i knew from the start that the meter looked kinda suspicious

I actually kinda liked this game even with the difficulty, and i'm probably gonna still playing until i finish it!

It's incredible that you nailed the megaman style, and i love it!

I really like the simplicity of this game, the sounds and the music and the emotionless face of BUILDMAN.

Oh and could you rate my house:

I actually liked a lot of this game, this really feels like the first zelda (even if i never played) but even with the kinda complicated controls and mixing menu, it stills feels like you are going in a adventure, so congrats (:

Yes, literally to the other person who join the jam, please i'm begging you.

Or just go to the game page to see the web browser version.

Best game in the jam, bet if you can beat the first level (:

Thanks! and its kinda of procedurally generated, i just used this tutorial and put it in 2x more faster to do it. And begging that everything just works (almost) perfectly

Yeah, you are right about the jumping and the generation, i will probably update the game after the voting is over.

Thanks! (:

Thanks for the feedback! now that i notice, i could never realize that the li'l character and his surroundings could never match the look I wanted and a consistent perspective, so. Thanks for your sincerity!

Yep, I did the music, sprites and code, thanks!

I really liked this game! I kinda wished that there was a small warning when the "chompers" enemy is about to bite, but overall. Really good game!

Yeah you're right, now that you say it. The "enemy" was not as intuitive as i wanted /:

Amazing game Kreyk! everything feels very polished.

It was quite fun to play! and i wish the skeleton sounds sounded a little better

It's really amazing that this game was made by a tiny elf!
