woah, it was too long , nice game though , it needs a lot of improvements like add some sounds, some work on animations also level feels a bit monotonous so you can change it a bit but overall great for jam

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Small errors can cause player to restart level multiple times. Thus, errors rewinds player back to the level. In levels where enemy is introduced ,enemy is following player unless player decided to restart the level.Enemy does not rewind back to start position after player restart the level(this can add variation to the game where player needs to go opposite direction to manage going in right direction)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I followed tutorials from Youtube(including Brackeys,Blackthornprod and many others).

My thoughts on your game:
- Animations: the walk animations are inverted and you should check if the feet are touching the ground to play it. Maybe they were too detailed, but looked cool anyways. I am not and expert on sprite animation, but you can take a look at the video to check what I mean with "too detailed".
- Mechanic: the upgrades were a bit difficult to interpret, you could have written some pieces of this awesome hand-written text that you used for the tutorial (I liked it, it was quite funny).
- The collision shape of the player is too big. Unless you are doing a rage pixel-perfect game, the collider of the player should usually be smaller that the sprite, to make it a bit snappier.
I liked your all over the place story-telling, and the wall running was good.
Could use some polish on the animations and graphics, but cute little platformer.
Could you please play and rate my game too?
Fun little platforming game. the sprite character is funny looking but cool! it's nice that you can restart the level easily. good job. Please check out my game if you haven't :D
I like the premise (apparently I'm supposed to be chased by coronavirus), it is a solid concept to start, although I do have a few recommendations. First, apparently the virus doesn't make an appearance early on in the game, I think it would be better if it was there the whole time (maybe doesn't move until player makes the first move). Also, I found a shrink powerup somewhere, which was cool, I guess that would help me fit through gaps but I think it would be nice if you explain the powerups more in the beginning. Also, don't be afraid to spice up the assets! Everything felt kind of muted. I didn't know my end goal either, maybe a minimap with a finish flag or a side character who gives you advice would be nice.
Don't take this list of feedback too critically, I think you are off to a really good start and have a strong foundation for your game! If you just make the game pop a little more with more assets and music, as well as give the player more direction, you'd have an amazing game!
Thank you for the feedback!Well, I didn't have much time to implement a minimap and I'm not sure if it's even useful in my game with giant levels and confusing terrain which makes game fit the theme.I don't think I can implement it in such a way to show whole level with finish flag.In order to do that I need to shrink level size.Because I don't put any directions in the game, player needs to walk all way around to find out where is finish flag.I posted map of level 1 ,and coronavirus shows in another levels(and restarting the game ,coronavirus doesn't restart as well,so she(coronavirus) rewinds back to player no matter if player is moving or not).Maybe what be cool to implement is that when restarting the level, game shows previous player's path in reverse.Again, thank you for the feedback! It's cool experience making this game.
Don't take this too much critical,I just want to upgrade my knowledge of C# by learning Unity. Also,I want to join this jam, because to me it's not important if I'm first place or last,I just want to see how much I know, what can I make with my own assets(graphics, audio, etc.) and learning, upgrading my knowledge, having fun.
I like the graphics. I think the rewind could be implemented a little more like reversing time vs restarting.
Good effort. Also camera is really close in, but maybe that is part of the challenge?
Good if you are early on in development.
I liked the character, the feel of the the game reminded me a little of Salad Fingers! Good effort!
Interesting game. The map was huge, but since the graphics looked the same wherever I went, it was easy to get lost and/or confused. I also wish there was some audio to spice up the experience. With some more polish, this game's concept has the potential to go extremely far.
I like the idea and spent a while exploring the caves. I did notice that I could infinitely jump when I was against a wall and for some reason when I picked up an item the sprite reversed itself. This has the potential to grow much more!
Game has huge levels and there is an ending to the game. You can climb walls(which is bug,but I implemented it as feature) and second level feauters enemy which follows you and if you restart the game ,enemy does not rewind back to its original position so you need to distract him then go in right direction.
I wish you added some sounds to the game. Made it feel (sadly) kind of lifeless. I like that the player needs to find a way through these tunnels in the canyon, which makes me want to explore. I didnt like that when I got stuck somewhere mid-way i had to "rewind" to the start again. Maybe checkpoints would be a great addition if you want to patch something to the game later!
