Took turns with other teammates to play the game and see who would get a high score. The art style really speaks to me, and the animations are smooth. Although it would be cool for the queen to have different abilities, I think it's overall a really nice game. Good job!

I really like the concept of the game. Having played similar games, it has potential! I would say maybe between days you could take off a little bit of suspicion if the difficulty gets higher and higher. Overall had fun playing it (Also could be cool that the person becomes more and more eldritch as the day go by)
Hey there! Thank you so much for the feedback. We will definitely up the player speed, as we noticed it's really slow for a map that big. Our thought regarding the gun was initially to have ammo that could be found throughout the map, but we scrapped that right before the deadline. We agree that the ability to shoot anytime would be a QoL improvement with the approach we have taken now. Thank you for playing our game!
Hi there! Thank you for trying our game. This will go into spoilers for the steps to progress so here is what you'd have to do from that point on. There are candles on the ground, you'll have to interact with them to activate the next step. Then you'll have access to more parts inside and outside the house. As I mentioned in another community post, we haven't had the time to add an UI/Journal type of guide to help the player understand where to go but are planning on doing so in the near future! Please let me know if you have any more questions related to the game! Thank you so much!
Yes it isn't really clear sorry! We didn't have have time to add questline UI like we had planned to do (we are still working on it and will add it in the near future). This section will be spoilers for some of the steps to progress. The first door needs a key that can be found on top of the shed, behind the house. You can shoot it with your gun. There will be other items inside the house you can interact with, sadly we did not have time to indicate them properly. If you have more problems progressing let me know! Thank you for trying our game
Hey everyone! This was my first Game Jam ever and going through the submission has been a blast. There are many entries so it's hard to go through everyone, if you have a game you'd like me and my small team to try, please post it here! We were 10 students making a mystery adventure game set in the Wild West! You can try it here: https://jbdev95.itch.io/the-ritual
Hope you guys enjoy and make sure to share what you've been brewing in the past 2 weeks :)
Hi there! Congratulations to your team for doing this amazing game! Looking forward to see more in the upcoming Jams! If you'd have time to take a look at our game, we would really appreciate it! We were a small team of uni students that tried our first Game Jam! The story involves a mystery in the Wild West with a sheriff looking for a missing child. Thank you !
