The art style is fun, the music works well, and the dialogue is funny. I would have enjoyed something more to do each day than just talking to the characters, but overall it was an intriguing story and I’m curious to know more about what happened to the king. Nice job!
One thing I would suggest is having more contrast between the text and the background. It’s hard to read at times. Maybe make the text white and the background slightly darker and/or less transparent.
I like the picture and character design of the game very much. The music and plot of the game are compelling. Although the game is relatively short, it still belongs to the excellent work,nice job:)
Very nice music, backgrounds and sprites. The characters are just too cute. And the mouse-overs are fun. I enjoyed the writing as well. It ended kind of cliffhanger-ish and now I'm really curious how the story will continue. Short, but great VN! :)
Lovely character art and backgrounds. I really enjoyed the sprite change on mouse hover. The music was a delight to listen to as well. Also, shout out for including bold and brash in the library lol
A few tiny grammar/spelling mistakes here and there I caught: Your very obstinate (You're). Mathematician (missing the letter e). I usually wouldn't make a fuss but since the queen seems like a smarty pants it seemed worth pointing out :) Really intriguing concept altogether, I get the feeling Parsnip is gonna perhaps overstep his bounds a little? Best of luck continuing the project! Congratulations!
It was short, cute, and made me wonder what was going to happen next! I did not think I would learn a bunch of new words rating games in this jam, and I enjoyed talking to all the characters to hear all their unique personalities.

This was nice, not too interactive, but what stands out is the unique story and solid writing. Parsnip is now my favourite NPC out of the whole gamejam! Unfortunately I only realised that you could click on the NPCs twice, so I might have missed some lines which is a shame because they are really the highlight of this interactive story. I also appreciated that everything you could interact with had a nice little mouse-over animation.

This was a really fun idea for a short narrative game, I liked checking in every day with my cute and quirky friends while an ominous problem was bubbling under the surface. Cute art and very fun dialogue!
