Super funny and challenging

I love the art and story! Funny how we had a similar idea for controls in our game

SUPER fun, I was AUTOmatically hooked, quenched my apPETite, cheerS!

Very fun! Had to rebind the spell controls, but after that I had a great 15 minutes

Beautiful and very fun! Didn't expect a Papers-Please-like haha

Yeah, the unwieldiness was very much intended:-)
Also it's nice to know that you could pick up on the paralells to QWOP! It was one of our main inspirations for the control scheme along with Octodad haha

lol i totally get it <- our programmer guy
:p <-  our " lets make OKL; controls" guy

Cool game, brought back memories of playing similar fishing games on my dad's iPhone as a kid lol. Love both the cute fishes and the guy, he looks so excited in the thumbnail haha

i effing LOVE the GLUE GUY

It's basically Katamari, but Katamari is a goated game so you won't catch me complaining:) (also very cute artstyle)

Silly controls for a silly game :D

also my laptop has those tiny squished arrow keys, so we wanted something more symmetrical

If what you mean is that the ";" key moved the right hand to the right then that's intentional haha. the "L" key is supposed to make it go down. It's a quirky control scheme that we implemented so that both of the players' hands are relatively symmetrical to the Space key. If what you mean is that it made the right hand go down, then that is indeed something we have not intended...

I wasn't even aware that the word 'scale' had so many different definitions lol. Hilarious game with lots of personality and surprisingly fluid & fun gameplay. Giving budget Pizza Tower vibes (/pos).

wow, can't say i expected a rhythm game from the description. this is a really fun and original idea, great game!

Amazing game! Even if the gameplay is a bit simple, the stunning presentation and writing more than make up for it.

The idea is incredibly cool, but unfortunately in practice beating the levels often boils down to trial and error. Maybe if you could see a bit ahead of the camera and anticipate the challenges ahead of you it would've worked a bit better. Still, it was overall an enjoyable game!

I'm truly moved. Screw the underwater crocodiles tho.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it:)

It's really fun and incredibly polished! I especially liked the maze-like levels where it really felt like you had to take the cursor and traps into consideration when planning your route to the cheese. The difficulty is mostly kept at a level where the game is challenging and tense, but avoids frustration, save for "Running in the Halls" which is a really weird early game difficulty spike. Overall I really really liked it!

pretty baller if u ask me!!!!!!!!!!!

The idea of a reversed flappy bird is super funny, and the game itself is actually lowkey addictive lol. Simple, concise and balances the line between difficulty and fun really well.

The concept, story and spritework are really nice! It has everything going for it except for the game itself - by the looks of the extensive lore and gallery scope creep hit you guys pretty hard. I'm glad you seem to have had fun while making it and good luck on fleshing it out after the jam:)

CALLED IT!!!

thanks:D

thank you! the control over randomness was what we had in mind when making this so we're glad to see we have seemingly succeeded:)

thank you for your nice comment and sticking through even despite the inital confusion:) do you have any suggestions regarding our itch page we could implement in order to make the game more understandable to new players? your input would be very appreciated! cheers!

due to the timeframe of the jam we had to cut back on variety a bit to finish the idea we had in mind, so it’s really more of a proof of concept demo than something you’d want to play for a long time. thanks for checking it out anyway! also congrats on getting all the special faces, even though it wasn’t really meant to be a challenge.

omg! thank you!

other enemy types were one of planned features we unfortunately had to cut in order to submit the game on time:/ we're glad you seemed to have really enjoyed our game despite that. thank you for your kind comment, it means a lot!

a very cute little game with nice aesthetics and a clever idea. others have pointed out the design flaws already so i won't nag you about them as they don't really take away that much from the game's charm:) even though it's not perfect it was fun playing it!

it might be just you, but we sure hope it isn’t;) thank you for playing, we’re glad you enjoyed it!

the lingering hitboxes are an issue we're aware of, unfortunately we didn't catch them before the submission time ended:/ we're glad you enjoyed the game nontheless! thanks for the comment!

haha yeah level randomisation does wonders for tricking people when you have to cut out half of your planned floors because of the time limit:P

thank you!

we really tried to go for something more out there than most would expect of the theme, glad to see it seems to have paid out!

wow, that's a high bar to reach! thank you!^^

thanks!!! ( 👍・ω・)👍

it’s pretty charming, even if it did feel unpolished in a couple areas. i especially liked the enemy designs, and the unexpected metroidvania elements were a nice touch as well! some of the double jumps really didn’t need to be so precise though haha

<3

that’s a very fair criticism and a good suggestion! i don’t know if you realized (maybe because we didn’t really do much to communicate that) but on the dicey platforms you can actually attack the snakes from below as well
