This game has its own vibe, and I loved it. Great job!

Really cool idea!

That was a cool spin on the jam theme! The gameplay was easy to pick up, but scaled in difficulty nicely. The UI was solid and the art was great. And most of all it was fun! Great work!

Creative, really enjoyable and engaging gameplay with matching retro aesthetic! Love it. 😍

Really creative game! It got really challenging in the best way the farther along i got into it

Really cool use of the theme and really fun game! Loved it ^^ Nice job!

Thanks for playing!

Fun game! I love the split up UI to showcase everything you need and the sus meter as a mechanic to stop you just going wild shrinking and growing the hole. I wonder if being able to move the hole a bit could be interesting.

Great work!

Developer(+2)

We thought of moving the hole but we figured it could be too much for the player to handle the size, position, and ants, especially if it's tied to the sus meter as well.

Thanks for playing!

What a funky and creative take on the theme, that's wild! The simplicity of the mechanics and the pixel art really got me, really fun!

Realy nice game, loved the idea although after the 8th level the golf balls are just flying around, lol. Had o lot of fun with this game :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yea true after level 8 it becomes very hard and requires a bit of muscle memory, IMO past that is just for the competitive people. We are considering lowering the percentage of difficulty increase each round though in the post jam version (:

Your game was fire too <3

That's such a funny idea.. not sure how realistic :D Good balance on all the things you have to pay attention to. Fun game

That was a fun game!

I didn't realised that I needed to move the ground on the right panel at first, and tried to click and drag the hole on the left (got the impression since there was a hand catching the ball on the intro). Got me a few tries to discover the actual control.

The insect mechanic was a good distraction, you can easily miss who shot the incoming ball - or get paralyzed. Nice tension.

The game paced very quickly, at least for me, around the 5th level, which was as far as I could go for now. Definitely enjoyed it.

Good work!

Thanks for playing! Yeaa we didn’t really have time to make a good tutorial so we kind of depended on players reading the controls in the page, Will def do something in a post jam version

thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed it!

Submitted(+3)

Great game! The idea is cool but a little too hard for me, maybe I'm just suck at it...it would be better if the ball was highlighted longer so the player could see it more clearly.

Developer

Yeaah ngl it is on the harder side, it def needs some getting used to, maybe multiple difficulties in a post jam version? (don’t quote me on this lmao)

Thanks for the feedback! you got a nice game yourself!

Great minds do think alike XD. I love the idea, fits the theme really well. It'd be cool if the slider worked outside of it's area as long as you're holding down, so you can focus on the hole rather than what your mouse is doing. The retro aesthetic is really good too! Really well done!

thanks for the feedback! I read your reply and yes I can hear the music now, it’s also a great track goodjob (:

very cool game about being a sus hole manipulator!

Super funny and challenging

Wow, what a nice game! Amazing concept and art style, and the “SUS” really got me. Genuinely enjoyed it!

Submitted(+3)

I love this IDEA so much! Best creativity to combine the mechanics and the story!

( why would you think of this? I dont think anyone would have such experience lol

just played card shark and this intensity is so familiar! I like it when the punishment is not only restarting but also contains drama and emotion!

as a simple game it just beats most games with designed levels i see in the jam!

my collection now. I'll check this before making my next game

This feels like the plot of one of those 90s Disney films I watched as a kid.

That was really fun! The controls are intuitive and responsive. The difficulty has that nice, quick, arcade escalation. The setting and art is exceedingly charming!

[EDITED: 8-23] My only note is that[, at the default volume,] the sound effects are just a tiny bit loud. Not by much, only enough to sometimes peak above +0.0 dB.

Fantastic! Great work!

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much for playing!
You can control the volume via the pause menu or the settings in the main menu.

We really appreciate your kind words.

Submitted(+3)

Oh! I apologize; I'm not sure how I missed the volume controls.
