I probably forgot to reconnect the scripts when I changed all the text. Thanks for the feedback

Very nice game, I loved the music and the simple challenge

Nice game, fun and chaotic. Could use with more variety, maybe different classes with different coloured bullets that have specific effects each

Also, the audio was a bit high, maybe add a volume slider in a settings menu

Fun game, I liked the chaos at the end especially. I didn't get the point of the footsoldiers as they were completely overwhelmed by the zombies as soon as the turrets couldn't keep up anymore.

Very nice entry

Very good for a beginner, good job. There are some problems with controls and the screen, but most are tricks learned from experience so don't worry about it.

I see some other people commented about them so I won't repeat them here, but don't let them bring you down. I made the same mistakes in my first submission as well (and almost made some of them this time too XD)

Here's the game I made. You have to make potions with a RGB system to match the sick people constantly coming in through your door. Hope you have fun playing it, although I do reccomend higher difficulties as the spawn rate seems to be a bit slow in the easy setting

Very simple and fun, could maybe be improved with more variety. Maybe a wave mechanic? I also liekd the clean graphic style you went with. All in all good job.

I know, unfortunately I didn't have time to thoroughly test the spawn mechanic a part from the fact that it works. It needs a rigorous tuning to make it really chaotic. I already had some suggestions on how to improve it which I definitely want to implement, but that's for after the jam.

It should be better at higher difficulties / with more time passing

Thanks for the review XD

Interesting choice. I agree with some other comments that more variety could help, maybe even a different platform every time you come back. Of course that would have been madness to do during a gamejam so let's call it future work XD

I had a little trouble with the controls in the platforming parts, where I moved way too fast, so you might want to tighten them up a bit. (might be just me sucking, fair warning XD)

VERY nice, lots of fun. Definitely publish this in some way as it's a real pearl. Maybe do add a tutorial first, I was a little confused at the start

Very fun, surprisingly similar to my own idea. I loved the chaos when you have 3-4 beakers all about to explode because you can't find the right shade

Don't know what else to say, to be honest. A very solid entry

I liked the mix between the oxygen-not-included style and the chaos of the binding of isaac. Loved all the different monsters trying to get me. Controls are very responsive, although it seems like you changed your mind and made space the start button instead of "a"

I liked the space and graphic aspect. The weapons had a good feel to them

I wish there was more of it to go around but what is there is very well done

This is my game, I hope you have fun playing it. I do reccomend higher difficulties because the simple ones might be a bit TOO simple -> not that chaotic

Here's my game for any that wish to play and rate it. I will definitely go around and rate your games as well

Now THAT I didn't think about. A wave mechanic is simple enough, but I really didn't think about different effects for the different colours of patients. Maybe they can add to one another in the mixed colours a part from the standard RGB. Thanks a lot

The chaos was supposed to come from the constant influx of patients, but the spawn rate is a bit too low. Should be better at higher difficulties

Very fun little game, the controls feel very solid and tight with the chaos focused on the ball

I tried many times to defeat what I think is the final challenge, but died in the end.

Very fun and entertaining although frustrating as well. Looks like a perfect game to be speedrun

It's a bit empty to be honest. I appreciate that you didn't have time, but there is no end nor danger for the player. It has the bases of a good platformer and I liked the graphic and responsiveness of controls, but you definitely needed more time to develop it further

Very beautiful game, the constant changes enhance the experience instead of hampering it.

The graphics are stunning, the puzzles are fun to figure out, especially with your fingers spontaneously tieing knots to find the correct combination.

That last section was murder and yet I still want more

The only part that blocked me was the end screen as I didn't understand how to move forward and possibly re-play the game from the start

(1 edit)

That could certainly help. I was also thinking maybe more difficult enemies, possibly even poison spread by the farmers or by plane even. Something to increase the flow of the game and keep the player engaged even after reaching swarm-level

My personal opinion of course, my thoughts are not law nor they should be XD

Very fun, although a bit slow at times the wave mechanic makes the intense parts very chaotic.

The stupid giblets blocked my shots more times than I care to recount XD

VERY fun, especially for being at its core essentially a mindless top-down shooter. The different "weapons" are fun to learn and use and the controls are quite intuitive, with the possible exception of the health. Maybe you could make it so it consumes eggs as long as R is pressed, possibly with diminishing returns to discourage spamming.

As a side-note when I read the title of this game I first imagined a rush to get everything possible, sort of black friday + combat. While this might still be a worthwhile idea, I am definitely not disappointed.

Bravo, sir

Very fast, many a time I didn't know exactly where I was. Had to lower mouse sensitivity because any small movement made me do a 360.

I'm not a fan of the graphic style, but that's a personal opinion. It is rendered very well

Suddenly appearing bugs are a menace, I know. Just for this gamejam I shouted and rebuild my game for more than 1h trying to find a bug that appeared only in the build and not in the editor. (I had to build it in x86 instead of the normal build, in case you ever encounter a similar problem)

Very intriguing game. I thought it was a simple platformer and that's it, but the difficulty ramp-up is nice. I imagine the chaos comes in the fact that the computer might randomly kill you at any time?

Maybe add a visible "countdown" of sort or some object/obstacle that makes the computer generate another random number. I think it would add to the chaos / will to complete the level again and again

Edit: talked with the author, they say there is one already. Could be a resolution problem or just me simply missing it

Very interesting concept, I wasn't expecting it. Simple and intriguing. It could do with a bit more instructions, maybe expand on the mini-version of the game in the starting menu.

I couldn't find a way to close the game without ctrl-alt-del, which is a pity
