the game was ok the movement didn't feel smooth and i wish there was music it would have made it a bit better so overall the game needs a bit more polishing .

In what way does your game fit the theme?
ther is lava and you dont know the physics
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
i have written code by myself only player controller physics is taken and the assets are from kenny site and has used his assets and i have licence too

The player movement and level mechanics were kinda jank, but I oddly love the look of the game and the level design concept!
I wouldn't recommend to play to someone who is sensitive to motion sickness, but it is pretty normal with this kind of game. Otherwise, you did a good job doing that game all by yourself, it's a nice concept !
I like the platformer aspect and how you done the game! tho a few things i found out iffy about the game would be in second level when you are on the moving platforms you are being pushed back, which shouldn't be like this or maybe it is how you intended it. Also a technical tip would be to use Unity's TextMeshPro instead of regular text, its 100 times better with no drawbacks and can also be zoomed in like you had them instructions on screen without feeling off. Overall good execution, keep it up!
interesting game and good implementation of the topic! Keep it up
Very good for a beginner, good job. There are some problems with controls and the screen, but most are tricks learned from experience so don't worry about it.
I see some other people commented about them so I won't repeat them here, but don't let them bring you down. I made the same mistakes in my first submission as well (and almost made some of them this time too XD)

Great game if you are a starter to game making! Keep this up and you will improve a lot over the next few jams!
For a "beginner", this is a great start! I like this concept of "The floor is lava" for the jam.
As some others mentioned, the player does not stick to the floor. For the second level (and in general with moving platforms,) you should parent the Transform of the player to the one on whatever platform it is standing on and unparent it when they leave it. For the first level, you kinda need to sprint to make the final jump, but since it is on a downward slope, the moment you start running, you leave the ground. Not touching the ground means no jump, meaning death in the lava. unless you find a way to make the player always touch the floor until a steep enough ledge or until they jump, a rule of thumb is to not do just that. I died quite a lot there and it was getting frustrating.
The UI was also quite low resolution. You should definitely try to use Text Mesh Pro, which is included with Unity and will make the text sharp at any resolution. All you need is select UI elements with the " - TextMeshPro" label at the end and, if it is the first time in the project using them, set up the essential assets in the window that pops up.
Apart from that, this is really a great start! I am sure you will improve greatly over time and make awesome games in the future!
Interesting concept and the game is fun, just the player sliding was a bit annoying.
Well done!
It was good, but 2 things.
- The player doesn't stick to platforms, making the second level impossible because the platforms move faster than the player can
- Make the text a screen before the level, as it doesn't look good during gameplay once you already know. Also use TextMeshPro instead of regular text to remove the pixelized and blurry look.
Those stairs!!!!
Btw nice game, though the character slides so quickly and sometimes doesn't jump while running.
Nice 3D platforming game as your first one. The first level was very challenging, but I was able to get to the staircase and climb it. However the second level just seemed impossible, after the second jump especially. Regarding the graphics, I think the lava could’ve been better in terms of its color contrast (it was kind of painful to look at it XD). Also make sure to add a fullscreen button (there is a toggle in the itch.io edit page of your game). Nonetheless, congrats on making your first Unity game!
I think you did a pretty solid job with the level design, as it was manageable, but not too easy, however the game didn't load into full screen for me so I was stuck with a small window to look through, also maybe some music would've been nice. I got to the second level, where I always kept sliding off of the moving platform after the air conditioners, which was a little bit frustrating. But overall, I think this was a pretty good jam submission, especially if you're a beginner, so yeah, keep it up! :)
Not a bad little challenge for a beginner jam submission. I liked that the style was coherent and thought out. The physics/controls need a bit of work, but you'll improve as you do more :D Well done.
Its an awesome platformer but i think the moving platforms are a bit buggy atleast it was on my system and a system which tells u why u died something like an partie effect would be nice to let the player know why he failed
Would appreciate a honest feedback for my game as well!
