Quite rough around the edges, but there's definitely a solid foundation here. One thing I didn't like is that a lot of times, when something hits you you don't realize what, why or how it happened. Not that there was not fun to be had, tho :) Also, the sprites were really well made!

What can I say?
The game OOZES of style! From the graphics to the UI to the music... Just epic!
The gameplay keeps you constantly on your toes and frustrates you in the best ways possible!
One thing that is frustrating in a bad way is when you kill an enemy from far away, getting the spawned bullets can be a real hassle
Well done!!

The concept is pretty cool, the prompts were quite funny, the AI art/music is pretty uncanny though for my tastes

Simple, yet very fun to play! With some better presentation it would be splendid. Still very good!

Very original idea, with gameplay simple but satisfying, that shifts your brain's gears into motion. Easily one of the best entries, well done!!

Wow, so simple, yet so gripping! Well done!!

Thank you so much for playing! You are not supposed to click once you launch the ball, you have to hit it by moving the mouse so it bounces on the racket. Definitely my bad for not explaining this, sorry 😅

Thank you very much!! Indeed, a GIF would really help introducing the player, will definitely add this when the jam ends

quite interesting piece, reminds me of the Tower of Babel

the shot is good, but could be more clear

Thank you so much!! Its even better if it caught you by surprise :p

most epic physics class I had in awhile <3

Wonderful submission - the gameplay, the art style, the music, everything about it is wonderful and well made! Keep it up!

one very tricky (potentially rage inducing) but very enjoyable platformer with a clever mechanic, with some polish this can be a major bop!

please drink responsibly :P

Congratulations!!! <3

well that's an unexpected interpretation of the theme!!

this is a simple but quite nice game, which also spreads awareness about the dangers of love at first sight XD

well done!! :)

I don't usually play rhythm games but oh boy, did I enjoy this one!! The execution is top notch - from the gameplay to art and music, everything is -chef's kiss- <3

Amazing work, keep it up!!! :)

This game is fire!!

I was a bit confused at the beginning about what to do, but when I understood what to do, I was having a very fun time! It got me hooked, ngl :)

Also the art is very charming and the effects really sleek!

One thing only, more powerful upgrades for the player as the game progresses would really help the game's balance, as later enemies are tough as hell right now x_x

Overall, very nice work!!! Keep going!!!

Thanks so much for the feedback ❤️

True, beginning with a full hand could make things simpler, will keep that in mind  :)

It's true the art isn't consistent in pixel size, however most of it is placeholder and will be replaced in the future

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I am glad you liked it ❤️

Such a cute and relaxing game!! <3 I liked the environment and the characters, and the mechanic with the characteristics of the items being usable is actually something I've never seen before, quite smart :)

The only issue I encountered is that some of the characters (Jode) won't let you complete an objective if they have another one pending (in my case, she wouldn't accept Jean's painting until I completed her quest of giving her fruity bread).

Overall, one of my favorite entries already <3

A nice fun little game :) I quite liked the gameplay and the visuals were not bad at all!

Only one issue, the audio at the start menu is DEAFENING, almost got a heart attack lol

Very nice try overall!

Thank you!! I am glad you liked it! I' ll admit it's a bit hard to understand at first, definitely something to fix in the future

As for the bug you mentioned, how did you get it? It would be a great help to let me know in detail if you can :) Thanks again!!

aww thanks <3
it's a shame you didn't finish your game cause i'm sure it would obliterate mine :)
sorry for your laptop, hope it's fixed soon!

Thank youuu <3 I'm glad you found it spooky :)

that was one blursed platformer, and this is not a sentence I thought I would ever type

the jump mechanic is unique and the game was fun (although oftentimes frustrating), and the art gives off an odd, dreamy vibe

also, the little head at the bottom was kinda funny ngl, when its dialogue wasn't broken (which adds to the curseness of the game, imo)

one thing that bothered me was when the character fell to the grey void it didn't restart immediately but I had to wait several seconds

other than that, a solid entry with a lot of potential <3

Damn that stoopid Spanish drone stole all my belongings :(

With all its flaws, it was a fun experience! The models were pretty good, and there was a challenge here (And, my god, I'm so glad you kept the jumpscares, this is the best shit my eyes and ears have been blessed with)

As expected, there were several bugs and glitches, the most annoying one being that when trying to play again it's immediately game over; and I could not understand when and why did I lose my belongings, especially when I just stored them on the car. However, I understand that there were many hurdles and little time, so it can be forgiven :)

I definitely see the potential this game has and I hope to see more updates and ooga boogas ofc

Given the circumstances, well done <3

Thanks so much!! <3
I'll admit that the visibility is far too low; I was trying to make the game more challenging by making it more dark, but I took it too far... I tried to work some 3d audio, but the results were poor, definitely something to fix in the future

Again, thanks a lot for your feedback!!! :)

damn, this platformer was good!! it was very pleasing aesthetically but also satisfying gameplay wise :)

some extra audio and some music would be an improvement, but other than that great game <3

wow, that was an unexpected take on absorption... which sadly is true :(

seriously, the struggle to balance work / life is greatly shown through the mechanics and visuals of the game, making for a quite satiric and interesting experience
well done <3

very fun and atmospheric platformer!! the atmosphere of a dying universe is beautifully haunting, almost distracted me from the gameplay lol

the art is serious eye candy, the movement was quite responsive and fluid (sometimes the gravity of the character was confusing but hey, we 're in space :)) the music is a bop and the sounds of the "earth" are ...pleasant :))))

a very solid entry overall!! well done <3

the game is pretty fun and challenging, the art is very nice (the main character is extra cute <3) and the soundtrack is very good

the thing is, I'm not sure that the concept fits much with the whole "absorption" thing

besides this, very solid game <3

(some technical things I want to point out: the sprite doesn't always flip in the right direction, and at the second level with the cubes which move with the player, the checkpoint isn't set at the previous checkpoint, but two levels back)

both the idea and execution are superb!! pretty simple, but yet challenging!!

very well done <3

the idea of absorbing & giving powers to other objects, even as basic as movement and jumping, is actually really cool and and in this game there are tidbits (the tunnel with the giant square obstacle) where this idea shows its potential :) although it has its fair share of jank (especially with the attack range of enemies, which sometimes seem to just hit you from far away) and the lack of audio makes it kinda empty, it's a fair try nonetheless

it's a shame you didn't have more time, because I 'd love to see a more polished version of this game <3

nice, sweet & simple, love it!!! <3

this could be a really good exercise on RGB colors, ngl

the track is rly calming btw :)

this is an unique spin on the theme, ngl :) the mechanics are quite challenging -although the platforming can be very frustrating- and the graphics are simple but real cute! overall, I think it has potential and I 'd love to see a full fledged game with this idea <3

one downside I want to mention, the game does not go completely fullscreen but it just fills the page window (at least that happens on my end), making it hard to see the edges of the screen

it feels like I am having a fever dream while searching for my school paper and browsing through memes at the same time

5 rickrolls / 5 :)

this was a fun and surprisingly addicting game!! the tanky movement mechanics were -at least for me- not a hurdle but, unexpectedly, a challenge :))

the music also slapped, although I noticed that in game it doesn't loop, it just abruptly stops for some reason

a pretty solid entry, really enjoyed it <3

Thank you so much <3

Due to time limitations we didn't implement the skipping of the dialogue loading, but we definitely plan to add it in the future :)

pretty interesting game!!

the gameplay is simple but on point, the art is serviceable (but the ui imo slaps! very unique <3), and the audio is pretty okay - I like the music track, it gives me some dark vibes, appropriate for the vampiric theme :) only issue i got is that the movement feels a bit janky and the attack unresponsive sometimes

overall, a very good entry, well done <3
