Very cute game! :)
I liked the art style a lot, and the music complemented it nicely. It was very relaxing to play, and I enjoyed the puzzle solving aspect of it. The characters were all memorable and had cute designs :D
The way in which you pick up tokens from objects in the world wasn't immediately obvious to me, but once I'd worked it out I had no issues :)
Great job!
It's a very pretty game and has a nice casual feel to it. Understanding the mechanic was a little difficult at first.
Wow! Absolutely love the art style. I wish I knew how to setup a game like this!
Nice story! Also, the overall style of the game is quite relaxing to me!
I loved this and played it all the way through! Very wholesome story & cute art.
The mechanic of collecting attributes of an object and using them on other objects to transform is really cool. Some suggestions:
Congratulations on the project!
Thanky for the compliments, really appreciated. And for taking the time to give such thoughtful feedback.
To your first point, it might be a good idea to let the (!) mark jump to the right side grid panel (or a marker with a mouse cursor, to advice the next action), as soon as player interacts with the branch. In that case, the marker would continue guiding the player to the next step as it has done before.
The limited inventory might prevent players in unlucky cases to pick a token that is needed in a certain moment. I was thinking of "unlocking" the interaction with certain items only in the moment, when the corresponding quest had been started. What you think?
1) Yes, that would be a good solution
2) Unlocking object interaction might work, but it could also become frustrating for players when they reach an object but can't use it yet. I'm not sure how to tackle this best.
Really cute game! I played it all the way through and quite enjoyed it. The puzzle aspect of taking different qualities from objects and using them in other places is really cool. Nice work!
Great game all around.
adorable art style and relaxing game play :)
I love the art and music. The music gives me a very soothing yet subtle feel.
I love the artwork. This is a nice game to play.
Lovely game! I like the art very much, but please be careful, don't press R cause it can reset all the progress)))))
Such a cute and relaxing game!! <3 I liked the environment and the characters, and the mechanic with the characteristics of the items being usable is actually something I've never seen before, quite smart :)
The only issue I encountered is that some of the characters (Jode) won't let you complete an objective if they have another one pending (in my case, she wouldn't accept Jean's painting until I completed her quest of giving her fruity bread).
Overall, one of my favorite entries already <3
Aw this was a very, very wholesome one :) I love the visuals, the music is very nice, and the game feels very relaxing! :D A great entry. The only issue is that sometimes I wasn't entirely sure _how_ to do what I had to do. Especially with the oven. How do I use the "hot" card, and stuff like that. I found out by trying around, but I thought that was a bit unintuitive. Other than, an amazing entry!
Nice arts, I love the forest and nice animal friends
Nice arts and soundtrack you made! The quests and dialogues are sure quite meaningful. If only I can get another one impressive gem so that I can draw the other one painting as well.
Thanks! Was writing the dialogs with the characters in mind - never did that before, but the stories came quite by their own to me, this part was really fun. Yeah, there is only one impressive gem/token (makes me so happy you found it) - just out of curiousity: which painting you decided to create?
I was wanted to have this fruit painting as an another painting, I chose the dusk scenery painting one at first during my first playthrough.
Was telling Jean about this. All he said was: "Hold my beer..." - and 10 minutes later he came back with this one. It's for you, he sais :-)
Wow, I never expected this, I was just saying that if I could get another one Impressive gem so that I can get to achieve another one painting after finishing the game. Thanks for the effort though!
Lovely little game.
Very nice little story. Amazing soundtrack and character stories. I really liked Woody's story. his story is funny and he is very naive himself. The only thing that was inconvenient was the large colliders, I often got stuck in them. Thanks for making such a great game!
Wow. Thank your for your kind words - this is so encouraging. The colliders are on me, haven't worked with Unity for a long time, and thought I can help with these. But I struggeled quite a bit and there was a lot of back-and-forth, sorry for the inconvinience.
This is a very small flaw, the game is really very good
Very cute game, I loved the concept, art work, and music. The crafting mechanic was a little confusing , but overall great job!
Thank you :-) The mechanic has some weak spots, indeed. In section "How to Play" I am explaining how it works, taking the first tutorial quest as an example: https://flavedogame.itch.io/chloe Hope it helps.
The artwork is so charming, loved seeing you post in the discord throughout the month! I did get stuck in the dialogue with the squirrel but overall very cute!
Thank you - looking forward playing your game as well :-)
Can you remember where you get stuck with Woody? I am planning a spoiler section with some hints making it easier to solve the quests.
It was when I first talked to them! I got stuck in the dialogue and had to restart
Absolutely love the artwork! Looks amazing. Music is awesome too, great job!
