Ok, my bad.I thought it was OK since the "shading" is just applying one color over the over with a 50% (or so) opacity.I will know for the next 1 bit Jam :-D.
I tried on my Samsung S9, but it crashes when I tap the screen to jump. Do I need to install something else before your apk ?
yes, I made my engine, but it's a very small/simple one.
I think it complies with the 1 bit constraint because alpha blending are allowed.

I first wanted a gameplay with several levels (and different palettes) but in the end the timing was too short for me. :-)
