Hello! This is a fun little game.

  • I find the controls tiring. I’m not used to controlling the height with my left hand; I’d rather use the right arrow keys or the mouse.
  • When you fly over the water, you realize that the island is hollow.
  • Overall a little choppy, but I did catch an enemy.
  • A bit more game mechanics, like kidnapping cows, would be fun.

Perhaps you would like to take a look at my prototype? Roll, jump and shoot. Beginners need feedback and tips.

Thanks for the explanation, actually I could have figured it out myself, you kind of know it from CSS and such. Your video helped me a lot! It’s not just the button that’s not in the right place, I noticed that in Lance’s video.

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback! That is very valuable, and I am pleased that the project, apart from the many small errors, makes a positive impression overall.

Hey,

just like that, when I want to scroll, I get at the same time.

Thank you so much for your review, I really appreciate you taking so much time to do it! I’m glad you liked the reference to Space Invaders. Your feedback helps me a lot because I’ve become a bit blind to my own work.

  • What I haven’t quite understood so far is that the resolution of the GUI elements doesn’t seem to fit. I’ve assumed until now that Unity adjusts this to the screen size on its own. Just so I understand correctly, you played in full screen mode and the button in the upgrade store was not visible? Could you tell me your monitor resolution so that I can adjust it here.
  • The controls should be changeable via the upgrade store in the future, but the lack of control in the air could cause frustration too quickly, so I’ll have a think about that.
  • The tutorial is a good idea, you’re the second person who didn’t realize you could move at first.
  • The difficulty thing is a good tip, I’ve tested it so many times that I can’t really judge it anymore.

In higher difficulty levels there are other missiles that can also destroy the protective barriers.

Best regards Alex

  • I like the story and the graphic style.
  • The controls are not always self-explanatory at first glance, but you soon figure out how everything works.
  • On my first night, 3 out of 4 rabbits starved to death, maybe you could tell sleepy players like me earlier that I need carrots. That’s where I would like to see the hint.
  • I like a speed function in games like this.
  • The rabbits always run to the tower / fire to fill up the tower and fire without any materials and then back to the house, so they might realize earlier that they have nothing with them.
  • After I send a bunny to collect, the building is automatically deselected; this is impractical if I want to send several bunnies.
  • I zoom into the map more often by scrolling up the jobs.

The game is crazy but crazy from the same mold, I like that!

  • I like the soundtrack! The sounds fit well.
  • The graphics are interesting, for me, there are a few too many lighting effects, especially the light around the character.
  • Maybe I’m too old, but I need automatic fire; otherwise my tendons can’t take it!
  • The game is quite fast-paced, which I’m sure is a challenge for many!

When steady fire comes, I’ll gladly watch it again ;-) Best regards and good luck. Alex

Overall, I like the concept, but I’m not a big puzzle fan, so I wouldn’t play it for long. At first, I thought it was an adventure game where I was searching a dungeon, then I realized that it’s actually a really big puzzle.

  • I can move/reduce the life bar with the mouse.
  • It took me a while to realize that I had to attack the monsters several times.
  • The little question marks are super helpful, maybe you should have them flash briefly at the beginning so that they are not overlooked.
  • A turbo mode would be great later on so that you don’t have to watch forever.
  • Highlighting which step is currently being processed would help me, especially if I get stuck.

Best wishes and good luck! Alex

My English is probably not good enough, so I didn’t understand everything. Nevertheless, the game appeals to me, I like the design and the simplicity. I also want to know what happens. I’ve started it three times out of curiosity alone.

What I like:

  • Graphic style is nice, even if it looks quite gloomy.
  • Sound is pleasant in the background and works well for me.
  • Simple menu, quick start to the game

What I miss:

  • A bit more story and explanation at the beginning, I don’t even know what’s going on. Of course, this could also be due to my poor English.
  • What exactly do the symbols 1 (safety?) and 4 (eye?) mean?

I’m not sure, I think I moved the resident there when the tree was cut down. Then I had the problem that I could no longer click on it. I just tried to reproduce it, of course, that didn’t work. :D

Hey, I really like the look of the game. It looks cute and is simple. I played the first level and unfortunately a resident “hid” behind a tree quite quickly and I couldn’t use it any further. The controls are unusual for me, I’m used to selecting with the left mouse button and executing the most common command with the right mouse button in many other games. To change the line, for example, I could select the resident with the left mouse button and send them to the cottage with the right mouse button. Then select the other cottage and directly send an available occupant to collect with the right button. That would save me a few clicks. All in all, my pre-tester has already written such an excellent text, I can’t add much to it, I’ve rather learned something that I wouldn’t have paid attention to otherwise. Best wishes and good luck! Alex

Edit: I played all the levels. It’s fun for a prototype!

  • It should be possible to optimize the gold collection.
  • I’m missing a display that shows if a resource is already being mined.
  • Maybe you could let multiple inhabitants collect at one mine?
  • When a goblin village is destroyed, I would like to keep the units and move them to another tower.

Hi guys, I’ve been learning C# and Unity for some time now and would appreciate feedback and tips on my second learning project. You play a lettuce head that has to defend itself against meat products armed with a carrot. Originally I wanted to program something along the lines of Missile Defense, but now it’s gone in a completely different direction. Feel free to suggest improvements to anything you can think of. For example:

  • controls
  • opponents
  • upgrades
  • Are there things that disrupt the fun of the game? Don’t mince your words and roast me.

Veggie Defense

Many thanks and best regards Alex

I'm always a bit biased when it comes to clicker games because my old bones don't last long.

I got water to level 9 and the coin is full.

What I would possibly improve:

  • I'm not sure yet what the coin upgrade does. Maybe a little help ingame.
  • A display of how many chickens I have.
  • For old people like me, a helper upgrade so that some coins are picked up automatically. Maybe not all of them, but only a couple every X seconds.

Otherwise, I don't like the night so much, but that's probably a matter of taste. All in all, I think it's a great game for a quick game in between!

Really great game! Simple and fun! Has the "now I'll do it better" effect.

I'm missing a zoom and the difficulty would have to increase further.

Somehow inverting the camera for the mouse didn't work, so it was exhausting to play. I like the whole setting and I would certainly have invested a bit more time if the controls had been right. In addition, I often get lost in games, so a little (activatable) help might be handy. All in all, I like it a lot.

Nice little game! Easy to get started, I like it!

Thanks for the comment! No vegetables, fruit or meat products were harmed during the development of this game ;-)

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment! I've put a lot of work into it and it's gone a bit over my head. One of these days I'll try a new start. But I'm very pleased with it for my first serious project!

A nice game, I'm excited for more missions!
Fireballs, victory and no deaths, very well done

Good for a start. Reminds me of tipp10. The space button is a must for pauses!

Give us loot and enemies ! ;-)

Crazy camera movement, I like it!

A beautifully intuitive game!

Simple, beautiful and fun

Nice game with potential! Tower upgrades, more levels and balances and I like to play it longer.
