It does keep going, the highest I got was 17. Thank you for the compliments, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you :)!

I think we just ran out of time but I also thought it was cute in the way someone would unlock a new entry in a recipe book! Thank you for the feedback, happy you enjoyed!

This is an awesome idea, I love the thought of crafting through this style. Original, fun, simple. Good job!

I actually really like this game! Cool concept, but it seems nearly impossible to break through the opponents defenses since you need to destroy all their enemies in each row at the same time, otherwise they can just replace the 2 they lost. I think adding an extra track should solve that. I love the idea and you should work on this further after the game jam - maybe work on balancing and adding some polish. It would be cool to see this as a full game and not one you were rushed on time for.

I lost, game’s rigged, dealer cheated. lol. Really cool take on blackjack, more violent than I expected. Good work!

The art and music is great, the game loop is fun and thematic, the controls are nice, the only thing I didn’t understand at first even with the tutorial was where to submit items. After one session it’s very easy to get into and very charming. Great work!

It’s simple and creative. The time pressure is great for my gesture drawing actually lol. Music is calming and art is good. Great submissiong!

Awesome submission! Tutorial is great, art is great, music is great, my only feedback is until you get down the muscle memory of the anvil, it’s unforgiving. Maybe adding a wider hitbox for passes? All around super great game!

This was super cute lol. I love this. The premise is simple and easy to understand, the artwork (esp a pen with a mustache) is fun, the music is simple and captures the vibe, and the game loop is modular so you can create more levels easily. To top all that off, it seems you did this all on your own. Amazing job - one of my favorites!

The crafting isn’t too complicated to understand - but it seems a lot of people weren’t able to get it so i wouldn’t say it’s intuitive. It may be good to keep all the actions on one easy to understand menu rather than multiple separate menus. Feedback aside, since this was a single developer project where you handled the music, art, programming all on your own, i’d say you did some good work. It’s not super easy to take on everything!

The game is fun to play, it froze on level 4 probably due to some programming line when hitting the lever, overall very fun - the ability to get drunk and boost your speed and also slippery-ness is very original. great work!

Super cute platformer, pixel graphics look good, the controls feel a bit slippery, but maybe that was the idea?

I love it :D reminds me of an old mario minigame on the nintendo DS. great work!

LOL thank you! Totally agree we should’ve allocated more time to art, but it was tons of fun to make.

Lmao, totally agree, thank you :)

Thank you! Announcements were definitely interesting, and totally agree with each one being unique, there was a lot of fun ones! Thanks for the compliments!

you can sort of do a theoretical fix, on ready set the default game resolution to their viewport resolution to their monitor resolution and the mode to full screen, most problems should sort themselves out. also disallow resizing.

Good music and graphics! I had fun but the programming menu was very complicated at first.

Overall it’s fun, the sound effects are a bit jarring, but the game loop is easy to get into. Good work!

This game is awesome! I love the simple control scheme, easy to get into quickly, and I love good physics simulations. Great work!

Good job on your game! It feels pretty intuitive and your tutorial was very clear and easy to understand. I enjoyed playing!

Unfortunately I couldn’t play it >.< A bit upsetting because I like the story of Sisyphus and I’m a big roguelike fan.

Thank you, I’m super happy to hear the feedback and lol.

I appreciate that a lot! We had a really talented sound designer. Rope is easily my favorite part as well lol. Thank you!

Yeah I totally agree with not having the controls on one hand, I heard some player’s hands started cramping. Will fix it after the game jam. Thank you for the compliments!

lmao, I do as well, also spamming space on the rope wheel since it makes the snap sound effect super fast. Sorry to hear your hand started to cramp! I think this is because all the controls are on the left hand, I’ll probably even them out once the game jam period is over so it’s playable for longer, I feel bad about this. I’ll also make recipes more clear. The announcements were one of my favorite things as well. Thank you!

Thanks a ton for the feedback! Will improve on this once the game jam period is over. I’m glad you enjoyed it, it was super fun to make!

thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!

Solid game loop, I would add little details to the movement like acceleration. It’s maybe a line or 2 of code and brings the game to life pretty easily. Great work!

2560x1440

We were actually debating the “=” sign during development lol! I guess my teammate was totally right. Good pun lol. Rope is probably one of my favorite things as well, especially just spamming spacebar to make it snap repeatedly.

lmao, we appreciate all the compliments! The story is you’re hired by an orc who’s super greedy and values money, military orcs come in and shop for weapons, and if you can’t meet the demand you get fired. Would have loved to include the greedy manager in there but the life of a game jammer is not having enough time :p

Glad to hear it, as well as the criticism, we’ll probably expand on this in the future. thanks!

Unironically our team was just having a talk about this lol! Thank you for the compliments, with the limited time, we weren’t able to make a walkthrough, but I don’t believe charcoal was on the menu lol. Thank you for the feedback regardless, we intend to continue working once the game jam is fully over, I think with a bit more polish it’s a very fun and addictive game. Yours was as well, probably one of my favorites!

Good controls, good music, generally easy to get into. I love the mechanic of having to kill correct mobs to forge something for progression. Cool idea!

I love the cookie clicker concept, progression is good, simple and intuitive. I would allow for some changes in audio since the music is super loud. Also thought you should know there’s some issues with changing the size of the window. If the music was a bit more calm this would be incredibly addictive.

Came back to play again, got 64!

The idea of playing the smith is very nice, I love the concept, and the fact that unlike idle builders, you’re incentivized to actively pass checks to do better. Good job!
