Hi Dobsy,

I think the "collision cone" for the fire is shorter than the visual effect, so you have to let the spiders get closer in order to kill them. I am currently updating the game and will be fixing this.

There are 11 different places that a refill can appear, there will always be one can in the level. As soon as you pick it up another one will spawn. A random spawn point is chosen by the game from the 11 possible. My strategy is to look around until I find the can, then hold out at that location until it I'm nearly empty. Refill and go looking for the next one.

Thanks for telling me about the garage door. I didn't notice that! I will add that to my list of things to fix.

And thanks for playing the game! Do you mind if I ask what headset your playing on and what you movement preferences are?

Thanks for the feedback. I am really glad you enjoyed the game. You're right about the trip to the door, in hindsight that should have been shorter. The idea with the room is something I took from other games I have played. I really like it because it helps to make sure the player is comfortable with their movement settings before they get started. I'll have to make the billiard table interactive in the directors cut :p

I have now updated the game so that it supports teleport movement.

I love the premise for this game and could definitely see it being developed into a great little puzzle game with the introduction of a few additional mechanics.

To make this more interactive with the VR player I would recommend slowing the water down and allowing the player to grab and rotate the tower.

Some music would also be a great way to immediately boost it's impact. Despite the tension of rising water I felt quite relaxed playing this game, probably because of all the open water. A nice up beat chill out tune would really lift it.

And maybe a victory sound and some particle effect for the rocket launch.

Good job!

I might have fixed the problem. Would you mind downloading the latest windows zip version and giving it a go? Thanks.

Unfortunately I'm not sure I have the time or the equipment to make it work on other headset for this jam. Something I will have to be wary of in the future.

That's unfortunate. I will see if I can fix the issue today but I am not 100% confident as I only have a quest headset.

Just finished the game, it was a very nice little experience. Good use of the mic and the puzzles were a reasonable level of challenge. I notice that there were additional clues to the answers around the room, but that was quite obscure. Would have been nice if the answers to the puzzles had to be discovered by noticing or interacting with the room more. I definitely enjoyed the premise, the atmosphere and the voice acting was very well done.

One other note, I am quite short (5'6") and found it difficult to open the higher morgue doors.

Hi, tried to play your game with Quest 2 via Oculus Link. The game starts and I hear music, but I don't get any visuals.

Hey man, just seen this. Thanks for playing and making a video, it was awesome. Hope the twist didn't make you too mad xD (and the idea was a psycho  kidnapped you a trapped you in the titular tank)

Yeah I am torn on the difficulty, on the one hand I wanted a challenge, on the other hand I probably should have toned it down to make it more inclusive. Keep the peg moving horizontally (to the right is best) to avoid the oncoming balls of doom.

Yeah, I should have added music, but I ran out of time. :(

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

Difficulty can be a tricky thing when you are developing and don't have much time to get play testers.  On the other hand I did want it to be kind of tricky, I hope that the player gets a real sense of accomplishment  getting to the top.
