Such a great review 😉 really detailled and helpful, if i may, i have some explanations to provide to some of the bad points :

For the sound design… well the sound designer kinda left us alone 😅 that’s was really tough and we are really sad that we don’t have any sound, i agree that you loose a lot.

For the run button…there actually is 🙃 i guess we kinda forgot to put it in the controls(it’s ctrl)

For the settings button, it’s actually because we don’t have any settings, but it’s there by default and i forgot to remove it

For the end…well yeah, therés no button, i kinda « forgot », i say kinda tho, because, as for a lot of things, we really missed time(i mean REALLY like i created the lose and win scenes 20 minutes before the end, so i didn’t tough a button for losing and winning was worth to lose the jam submission 🥲)

very cool, love the da

Hello, im new on this jam, i wanted to know, i only have one week of availability, does the jam allow me to take one week instead of two, and mention it in the submission so that it’s taken in count ?

hi ! im so sorry for the time, i didn’t checked the comments since then, no worries about finding the solution, i understand, im letting you a hint below, and a spoiler at the bottom :

Hint every objects can be scaled, knowing that, there's a pot with brambles, i wanted to highlight it, but there is a key bellow you need to grab, but the brambles are on the way
Solution(spoiler) you have to scale up the magnifying glass and put it on the pedestal to burn the brambles

thanks ! and don't be sorry !  that's exactly what i wanted, i'm a big fan of outer wilds if you have the reference, so seeing people solving the puzzle in a completely unexcepted way is really satisfying for me X)

thank you for playing ! i'm planning to polish the game after the jam so yeah, navigation will be one of my main goal, and i'm noting you feedbacks :)

ah sorry i just spent 30 minutes replying but i didn't saw your answer X), yeah that's totally this, i think that's a good point you can keep in mind for the future, for us french game dev, this feature is a bit "obvious" because we just can't dev games without it(because majority got a WASD) but ifyou are using the english layout it's normal you may not have heard about it, anyway, happy to give some unusual feedbacks :)
PS : no matter your layout, you can play our game, just in case you get interested 😁

basically, as a french, i'm using the french keyboard, wich use a azerty instead of qwerty layout, 99% of the time the problem with gaming is that the classic wasd become zqsd, i'm assuming you didn't knew about that, so maybe that's something interesting for you in the future, unity input system is normally handling this, means that if you type for example "Z" in a french layout, the game consider it by it's position on the keyboard, so it will be considered the same input as a "W" from an english layout

your welcome, your case interested me so i tested, and i made a mistake, it's not about the dynamic speculative, it's in the interpolate mode, basically you keep the rigidbody discrete, and the interpolate make a smooth lerp between two physics update, allowing you to lower the number of updates, of course it's not great looking if you look close but that's not important in your case, if you wonder, in my pc i managed to run more than 8000 cubes at the same time with a decent fps

same here

love the puzzles, really creative, and the art style is just amazing !
maybe one remark, with this of a level in game design and developement(the character controller is just perfect) i would have expect the use of input system to support french layout

so cool !

honestly, i just didn't gave 5 star to style because the music was a bit average, and to not give the perfect note, because i absolutely love it !

love this one ! really juicy, and the use of a weapon that can be eaten is gorgeous !

Soon maybe 😉

really nice, i love the physics, althou a massive problem : it lag a LOT, i mean at the point where i ended the game because my pc couldn't handle it, maybe change the physic system, mayne not putting a rigidbody on everything, or at least if you do, put speculative rigidbody mode and lower the physics simulation rate, with this you can go from 50 per sec to like 10 per sec without affecting that much render

loved the concept of a fnaf like, even if shipping was a bit boring, maybe clamp the number to a maximum of + or - 60/70 would have been perfect

love the gameplay, but man so glitchy X)

i LOVE the DA, and the gameplay is really funny, and the upgrade for gameplay is really a good idea

for bad points id say that one enemy is glitched, and the really worst was, considering you die a lot, crashing the game, its really not appropriate for me, would have be better to just reload the scene.
and i softlocked a lot during the jumper, between elements, and by jumping on the high bars. (one was SOOOO damn raging X)

but overall really intuitive

PS : i found the secret room ;)

love the art style, and triggered my autism X) a bit sad that i ended up just spamming randomly

i really liked the ambiance, and if im not really a big fan of narrative projects for jam, it made my a bit jump at the end so it's a success, the only bad point is that i really don't see the theme fitting

yup, this explain that X)

waou, i didn't expected someone to actually put one in XD,
been 3 years since this era, but thanks (late) for playing !

yeh i think too, for me it's the next logical upgrade for the game, make it fun both for people who just want a lot of fun visual effects, and people who want to struggle and have a hardcore experience

i disagree with you, actually you think the difficulty is fun, but some of those people think not, not every peoples have the same habbit about the difficulty of a game, that's why pickable difficulties were invented, maybe that could be the answer to satisfy everybody

the idea is INSANE, i love the concept, it is just so annoying that the difficulty is made for dark souls player XD i gave up before seeing the entire potential of the game, maybe a set of difficulties could be a lot better
