It does not effect any of the values, but it could be implemented in the color version. Thank you for your feedback!

I tested it on a 3DS and it feels awesome to be able to play my own game on a real console. If you want to play it on real hardware you can download the gb rom or cia rom. You could run the gb rom on a huge variety of platforms.

I completed it. It was fun, but the transformation ability could be used more in the levels. I used the little ball form all the time, it made the platforming easier.

The walls often blend with the background and it's hard to see the actual platform.

The characters were cute!

Thank you for your feedback! We are working on a GameBoy Color deluxe version and your feedback is really important.

Thank you for your feedback. Our musician was busy this time and we didn't have enough time to learn GB Studio's music editor.

However, we'll put sounds and music in the deluxe version we are making for the GameBoy Color!

Thank you, we are making a GB Color deluxe version and your feedback is important. Which kind of activities are you thinking of?

Cute game, but the controls are slippery and it makes some sections really painful

Good job, that's a really nice piece of art!

Thank you for playing! Your feedback is very appreaciated!

We thought of that, but mashing buttons is the core of a party game, so we decided to keep it like that. Thank you for playing, I'm glad that you had a good experience!

Hello and welcome to Election Rush Hour: a party rhythm game where you can challenge your friends to the beat.

It looks nice and I'm a big fan of Pico-8. Cool concept and the game was really challenging. The only thing I didn't like was that reading and understanding the instruction took long time and it's not really 20s if you have to take your time reading the instructions. The screen is dense of information and that was a bit overwelming. Probably not the best fit for this jam, but overall a fun game.

I loved this game. The gameplay is really engaging and I couldn't stop trying again every time I failed. Great concept

Thank you for the feedback! We thought about making the cases random, but that would have been too much work with our experience (It's also our first time using GameMaker).
We'll surely make harder cases in the next updates

Thank you!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked our game

Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback. This game has a lot of things that needs to be fixed and we are working to deliver a better experience soon. Nerdy Techear's tutorial was really useful to understand the basics and we are trying to learn from other carts as well.

Thank you, I just added a thumbnail and I'm going to improve the game's page soon with better visuals

The camera was supposed to slide when the player enters another room, but is frozen due to a bug. We managed to fix the bug and made a post with a demonstration in the game's page. We'll release this and more updates as soon the jam ends. New features and bug fixes will be discussed in our devlog.

Thank you for your feedback. This game is just a demo, we are unexperienced developers and making this game was a big challenge. We hope you'll try again the game after the jam ends!

(1 edit)

Hello, the camera was supposed to move, but this bug made that jump harder. We just fixed the bug, but uploads are disabled for now. We hope you'll try again at the end of the jam. Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you!

Thank you!

Thank you so much!

Thank you for the feedback! The coding part took so long because I'm a noob and I didn't have enough time left to make more music tracks and animations, but as I'm learning it'll be better and better

Thank you!

Thank you! I actually thought of that and I would have made a more active crowd if I had more time or experience. Since this is the second game I make I had to accept some compromises. At least I made the spectators randomly generated, so each run you'll see a different crowd.

If I will make a sequel or turn this concept into a more complex and long game, that would absolutely be a feature!

Thank you for your feedback! No controller is needed, you can use the arrow buttons on PC or the virtual D-Pad on mobile

You can use transparency to make the white color look grey, but you can't directly use shades of grey
