thank you for the notes!! getting over it and qwop were actually the two main games i had in mind when making this, and i do agree i toned down the "punishment" while making it.
that's a fair complaint, i was scrambling just to code the mechanics, but i did want to make a short story thing initially ! i'll keep that in mind for the future too

oh wow i really enjoyed this one!! the artstyle is simple but super cohesive and when the color comes in it's super fun to see! i love the movement, i found that stacking a big bubble then "jumping" normally lets you get crazy speeds, and it's really fun to control the squid in the air too! i think this might be my favorite of the jam so far, i think you did a really good job!
i clicked bc of the anime boy. the pixel art is super charming! the objective was a bit unclear at first but past the first level i got it. i found the game runs really quickly(?) is how i can best describe it, which makes movement a bit difficult. the telekinesis mechanics are really solid though! super cool
i love the style! honestly could keep playing just looking at it. it's a bit hard to see what cards you, especially when you're dealing with a lot of digits (i'd personally like to see all my cards at once if possible). i know the difficulty lies in how well you can do math, but i thought it got a bit too hard by level 5... other than that, i love the control scheme and presentation!
this game is charming! finished it in a little over 30 mins. there's a lot of effort put into the assets (i like the ducks and color options!!). my main gripe would be needing a fair bit of trial-and-error for the later stages (mainly with how big you need to be), but other than that i found it quite enjoyable
