Hehe thanks, I’m surprised and glad that you liked it :)

Though this isn’t my best work, it still means a lot to hear this.

Just a model and camera. You can  separate rendering into viewports and we use them to render ui in 3D but for cockpit, we just render it in the same viewport with everything else.

I agree, the level is a bit too dark. I wish we had more time to work on it. It should definitely have more type of guiding lights than just the spotlight.

Now that I have been able to play as Henshin as well, I have some extra notes. -

  • Mouse sensitivity is good enough for Henshin but should be a bit higher for the tank
  • The orbs that you need to collect so that you would become a Henshin didn't attract my attention at first. Maybe it should be a glowy orange like the character itself?

Pretty fun game. I like how basically everything is destructible and how the tank can be absurdly fast. Music also pretty dope and having it react to events is pretty cool.

I wish the base fire would be a bit more stronger than it currently is and the mouse sensitivity could be higher or the game should include a setting to change the sensitivity.

Overall thumbs up for a good game.

Edit: Didn't get to the part where I played as a Kaiju man

Pretty cool game idea and good execution. Music fitted pretty well the gameplay. Visuals need a little bit of polish though :) . The card system works surprisingly well and the game itself encourages experimentation. Reminded me a bit of the Scratch program. Could be maybe a good way to teach kids to program in a visually pleasing way.

thank you :)

thanks for the feedback :)

I wish that had more time to work on the project but the life got in my way xD

Anyways about the second issue, the enemies aren't suppose to die. Instead you need to disable them by shooting them and once they are in "beeping" state, you can interact with the bot by pressing and holding E key or X-button on a controller.

I'm a sucker for emissive lights so it is immediately visually pleasing in my book. Voice acting and the plot was pretty interesting :)

I'm glad that you liked it :)

The dice is suppose to show which upgrade or downgrade you get but since I made the logic with spaghetti code, it shows the ability rapidly and the player might not necessarily notice what dice has picked and what it affects.

Edit: Congrats on getting to 10k :D

I love the game's art style

Looks good visually based on screenshots since sadly, I couldn't get the game running through Wine :/

I still hope the best for this game :)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad that you enjoyed the game. I can't wait for a second game jam where I could use Godot 4
