The music is made by Marlilo, he is an excellent composer! If you're talking about the boss theme, Marlilo's sound is heavily inspired by Terraria music. That could be what you're thinking of in terms of comparisons. Check out his SoundCloud (https://soundcloud.com/marliloo)!

Thanks for playing! An update is in the works and the features you mentioned are already in the game, so stay tuned for that!

thanks for playing!

thanks for playing! Could you explain what you mean by shortcut? Like a key press that would auto place cannons and oars? I want to try to make this project as good as possible before moving on to other jams, so all feedback is appreciated. Thanks again for playing!

thanks for playing! There are for sure some balancing issues that I need to take care of, one thing I plan on doing is revamping the shop to make it a safe area, so that should probably help out with difficulty. I also plan on increasing time in between waves as well as making waves only happen once every enemy is dead.

Great game! Shooting felt really nice, and I liked the reload mechanic a lot. One thing is that, for some reason, it didn't let me enter fullscreen, but that's probably a Godot issue. Another critique is how slow the water makes you, maybe up the speed just a tad. Great job!

thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the game :) I do plan on doing a post jam content update so I’ll add the safe area to the list of things to add.

will do, thanks for letting me know!

Enemies do a lot of damage, and I don't know if it was my side or not but I didn't hear any sound effects or music. Good job!

Cool game! Could use a short dash or something to keep up with the ball. Also I didn't have any audio for some reason

A little buggy on my end, but neat idea! Great job on your first game!

Cute game

Cool concept! Art is very nice!

Really nice controls and concept! I like playing as the little stick man too, great job!

Not super related to the theme, but cool in concept!

Theme wasn't really incorporated, and the controls (for PC at least) were a little bit finicky. Good job with the time frame you worked on it though!

Dig the little island art. I was disappointed to see the win button didn't do anything :( Cool little clicker game!

nice game!

A little buggy and a little hard to understand what's going on, but neat idea with the sleeping mechanic. Good job!

Cool little game!

Really cute art! I spent actually like 30 minutes looking for the watermelon and never found it :(

Didn't really understand what to do in the game, but good job!

I really enjoyed this game! I can tell you guys spent a long time on it, and it really shows. One thing I would suggest is maybe a progress bar or something to show how close to night you are. Great job, 5s across the board!

Really nice game! I do wish that I could easily select what island piece I was getting; trying to fill out the land masses was a little annoying because I kept on creating little lakes where I didn't want to. Anyway, here's my island :)

Pretty solid game! I did find the placement a little frustrating because I kept on accidentally deleting tiles, so maybe change the breaking to be done with right click just so you can place things easier. Another thing I would recommend is having the ability to hold left click instead of having to click for each individual tile placement.

I am not super versed in visual novels (I don't think I've ever actually played one), but I really enjoyed the art and writing. Good job!

pretty cool little game! felt the controls could have been a little tighter and the things you can dash through could have been indicated better, but good job!

Really cool game! Very well polished and thought out, and I loved the art style.

thanks for playing! A tutorial is defiantly on my to-do list

thanks for playing!

yeah the attacking definitely could have been done better, one thing that I wanted to add was knockback to the cannons, but I ran out of time. Post jam update will have better game juice for sure

I ran into that bug while testing as well. I had to leave a couple days before submission so I didn’t get the chance to iron it out most of the bugs I wanted to. I plan on doing a post jam update just to fix up all of the stuff and add some more content in a couple days.

thanks for playing! I’d love to play your game but I had to leave on a trip so I don’t have access to my computer, but I’m looking forward to give it a shot!

Comment your best times!

What's the painting in the game from?
