Give a quick overview of your game
My friend and I live in a very rural region with many flowers in the summer. That's why we chose to develop a game about a bee who has to collect nectar from different types of flowers.
We wanted to make a fun little game, which is not too easy to beat and has a cute design. We are happy how the game turnd out and hope you enjoy it too. For more information check out the game page.

This was a very cute and quite fun game. I absolutely love the art style. The designs, the backgrounds, the death screen, and the little animations are very stylized and cute. It's a pretty simple concept, but it was still pretty enjoyable, very pick up and play. I will say, the one criticism that I have is that on my final run, I got caught when the wasp was looking away from me and it was a pretty decent distance. Though that was just a minor bug that I found. Great work!

Thank you for your feedback! I will check the gameover-trigger of the wasp, thank you for pointing it out. The art was done by my friend and I also love it!

Really love the painterly art style!

Also the death screen spooked me in a good way haha, was a big surprise!

Very cute game with a nice atmosphere!
I wasn't sure whether giving my nectar to other bees was helpful or not, sometimes they flew off in the opposite direction.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. If you give it to the bees with 3-stripes they steal it and will fly off in the other direction. I have now added that explanation on the game's site, thanks for pointing that unclarity out.

This game is really charming and I think you two were very successful with achieving your vision. I love the art (especially the painterly looking parallax backgrounds) and it reminds me of what I really enjoyed about old Newgrounds games. I think the detection areas for the wasp attack may be a little too large as I would be stung at what I perceived as a safe distance. Great entry!

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you liked it :)

Fun concept, having to travel farther each time. Had a bug where I couldn't drop off the nectar at the hive at all.

Developer

Hi jasonleeholm. Thank you for your feedback :) I was able to fix the bug you encountered, if you want to give it another try.

I filled 570 honeycombs but couldn't get back! and those 3-stripe bees almost tricked me lol. I love this concept, its very original. I did encounter a few bugs (other than the bees and wasps) where I would get stuck in a red flower or not be able to drop off the nectar myself, but they weren't game-breaking :)

Hi Dinos4ur! Thank you very much for you feedback. Also thanks for the clarification that you found bugs OTHER THEN the bees and wasps :D I was able to fix the two bugs you described, if you want to give it another try.
