Really cool idea, like the turn-based gameplay

I think there are some bugs in this that make it freeze after the first few turns. I like the pixel art and UI. It looks like it could be an interesting game.

I can't say I totally understand the game, and I had an issue that the game seemed to freeze.

I usually like card games, but I miss opportunity to cast more cards at once. Also who wins depends highly on who starts, because first player has one more card at the board each turn and deal damage first. And I was not able to read full descriptions of cards. But I get, that making card games is really hard and create well balanced game is even harder, so good job. Fits the theme very well, because when you have a chance of putting more knights at once you have unstoppable army.

Very interesting game and I love the art! Music is nice and simple. I must say, I was very bad at the beginning. Also, idk if this was intentional, but you can just as easy beat the game without any spells. Overall good job!

Good job on making a card game! I love the art style on your cards and this really has a good potential to be a longer game. Felt a bit hard though with the cards being so straightforward and practically matching the enemy turn per turn. Great game though :)

Neat game but I agree that it's a bit broken for whoever goes first. There's no reason not to defend every time, let your knight die, and then bring out another one next turn to attack. Unless I just got lucky and kept getting Knight cards.

Other than that, the card synergy was pretty good and definitely represented the theme of the jam. Also I think the issue people have with the text is that the card you highlight sometimes stays behind other cards even when maximized.

Nice game. I would even like to see  it more worked out into a bigger game

cool & creative idea! Unlike the comments below, I think the text size is fine, as long as you are highlighting the card you want to read. Then again, I played on full screen, so maybe that's why.

Seems whoever goes first is basically set up to win...maybe you can have more spell cards that would help that? Also, the game crashed on me twice when I tried to attack while having two knight on the field. Just thought you should know in case it's a bug! Overall, good job!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Nice game I would like to see more too it. The cards are a little hard to read

Interesting game, I enjoyed the mechanics of it but all of the cards felt kinda small and were hard to read. I think you needed to include some sort of screen scaling for the game.

Overall seems fun but whoever goes first has a super massive advantage.

It's nice to someone create a card game in an a week long jam, cause they can be difficult. There are some little changes you could of made just to make this game so much easier to understand:

  • Increase card size (espeically in full screen mode), I would of made this entire game inside of Unity's canvas.
  • Changed button interactable depending on game state.
  • Adding in little pauses when an action takes place or turn ends with a short animation
  • Putting the game state at the top of the screen in bigger letter rather than off to the side.

Great, But I have a problem when to type of knight is on board then I tried to attack but a game crash

interesting card game, good job finishing in a week!

Cool concept, would be nice to have a wider variety of cards and for the different phases to be more clearly visually indicated. But overall fun.
