I’m on a Mac as well and it doesn’t load for me either, so I definitely share your frustration. Once the judging is over I want to patch it and squeeze some extra stuff in that I didn’t have time to do for the jam. Thank you for your patience 🙏
Excellence across the board. Love the Oregon Trail-esque visuals with the old timey music, the very original concept and I had a lot of fun. There are a lot of games here where the developer clearly worked hard, but your game has so much polish and engaging gameplay. Really wonderful!
:D After I stated this I kept thinking about your game and had to come back and finish it to see the final boss. So even more fantastic of a waste of time than I could have imagined! You are an angel for making this <3
I love the clean visuals, and your tutorial was flawless. I had trouble a couple of times with the gun not being able to fire because of the angle at which I picked it up. Overall a wonderful game and you should be proud of yourself!
This was a lot of fun to play! Great concept and I could see this being a full game. Sometimes the controls required a high degree of precision, but arguably that fits the heist genre pretty well. Very impressive!
I'm glad you got spooked! I originally uploaded this game with full mode screen as an option, but the native screen resolution didn't support it, and I had to scale down. Not sure how to fix this but would be happy to implement something if possible.
That's valid. The mouse is not visible when I debugged, but shows up in the web version. I'm not sure how to fix this, but if you have a suggestion I'd love to patch the game somehow.
Thank you for making this game available in so many forms! The art style works well for fire and hands and some of the storytelling. In some areas, depth was not very readable to me.
I loved the VHS sound and visual effects, and the puzzles were really challenging. I could see this concept doing well with the "Joined Together" theme as well as last year's "Out of Control" theme. Well implemented time travel mechanic!
I intended for the game to have a lot more elements line up with the game jam theme. Alas, I didn't have the skills needed to implement all of them in a 48 hour window. I focused on polishing the elements I was able to do, and I'm glad it works for what it is.
I love the art style here and your approach to puzzles. It took me way too long to figure out that I could ride the dragon. The puzzles are really hard so I didn't get very far, but great animations and creativity!
