I really liked the animations for firing your gun and the enemies being headshot - quite satsifying!

Ooo I really wanted to play this but it seems like my mac doesn't want me to. It freezes when I try to start it with Enter. Hoping for a patch! :)

I’m on a Mac as well and it doesn’t load for me either, so I definitely share your frustration. Once the judging is over I want to patch it and squeeze some extra stuff in that I didn’t have time to do for the jam. Thank you for your patience 🙏

I like the appearance and death animation of the monsters, sadly the window was a bit glitchy, so my mouse would leave the game window sometimes.

The mouse leaving the screen is quite annoying for aiming ennemies

While it's an alright FPS, that's all it really is, which kind of goes against the point of the jam, and game jams in general

the mouse not locking isn't great either

I intended for the game to have a lot more elements line up with the game jam theme. Alas, I didn't have the skills needed to implement all of them in a 48 hour window. I focused on polishing the elements I was able to do, and I'm glad it works for what it is.

the mouse wasn't bound to the game screen, meaning i had to drag it back around to the other side to be able to turn around. didn't end up playing very long

That's valid. The mouse is not visible when I debugged, but shows up in the web version. I'm not sure how to fix this, but if you have a suggestion I'd love to patch the game somehow.

Definitely got a spook out of me at least once.
I had an issue with the mouse not locking into the game properly which made aiming and looking around hard. Maybe enable full screen mode option on itch.io could help?

I'm glad you got spooked! I originally uploaded this game with full mode screen as an option, but the native screen resolution didn't support it, and I had to scale down. Not sure how to fix this but would be happy to implement something if possible.

I really like the game. Love the art. The only thing I wish was that the mouse was not visible and locked to the center of the screen. But that doesn't have anything to do with the game itself. Great Job!

This is spooky. It's satisfying to blow these creatures' heads off, and also I can't read the name without thinking "amogus". I like it
