This is a really good idea for a game. I think it would be better if piece rotation was implemented, but it was still a really fun challenge to try and keep the two wells from piling up too far! Very clever

Interesting concept and I like the self-aware description on the page. Didn't quite understand why I sometimes could rotate both pieces and sometimes only one of them rotated making it even more challenging to know what I could do and when I could not do it. Overall, I like that you took something well know and applied the theme to it to make something new. Nice.

I like tetris, I played tons of "tetris but with a twist" tetris games, but I haven't seen something like this before! Good job!

I'm a Tetris 99 fanatic so this was a lot of fun.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Tetris 99 is great

NIce take on the theme! really nice idea, good idea to slow down the speed so i hve enough time to think about when i next putdown my peice

@deviltheg good idea, I think it will suit a good 2v2 game type probably you can add ai to one of them to compete with or add local multiplayer controls to it in the future. Overall nice try :D

Nice tetris variation!

I love this idea and it's really fun!

One note, for some reason the web version (using chrome) was broken for me: basically, when I pressed space, the game would immediately end with a bunch of stuff stacked out of nowhere, and clicking left to right would snap to the left or right and not go to the middle.

I downloaded the windows version though and it worked perfectly fine! I rated based on the windows one, not the web version. Great work!

Sounds like a bunch of hard drop inputs being spammed? Thanks for making me aware and thanks for playing

Scored 2100 :)

Honestly really nice, I only wish some of the gameplay was more friendly. Having blocks you can't flip makes for a very difficult time, especially for tetris players! (Your target audience :P)

But well executed. The game works well and once you understand the tricks you can use, it becomes a fun and challenging game to play.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The game might be a little too easy if you could rotate the line, I didn't want every block to have an easy place to go

How come you used the 3-sized blocks and not the original tetris ones?

Developer

It's a difficulty decreasing measure, tetrominoes proved to be far too difficult when dealing with two at once.

There's a balance to achieve :P

A more direct take on the theme, but not in a bad way, as a Tetris lover this game really made my brain rattle hahah

I could definitely see this hitting well with the hardcore Tetris crowd who are always looking for the next big challenge!

I like it, simple but well-executed idea!
