awesome idea! was this a solo project? either way, loved the mirroring gameplay, very original :)

Oh, damn. Yea, i personally find the game super chaotic when it gets to 4 stations. 5 stations is preti much for OSU maniacs haha. But thanks for checking in!

Thanks for checking in bud!

Thanks Bud!!

my bad, the game gets really chaotic when you start opening up the stations, but thanks for checking in!

Thanks bud!! I'll still be working to improve this game the best I can :)

Yea, either making settings, or removing the fifth station altogether would be more suitable to the general tastes. The controls do need work as well, and I'll definitely fix them in the future updates! Thanks for checking in!

Thanks bud!

oh right, yea damn, those were amazing definitely, crazy visuals haha great job w those!

The shaders? oh u mean the beams? Damn but all the more amazing, this is an amazing creation that you guys put up XD

Yea, keeping it minimalistic is often the way to go!

Thankss man!!

Thankss bud!! You too! :))))

Omg, I am totally with you with the hellish 5 track problem djfhsdkhf definitely should have made the tracks closer to each other, or remove the fifth station, literally begging for the players to have a third eye to keep up XD! But thank you so much for your great input, I barely managed to realize this idea solo-wise, but definitely will improve this game in the future updates. Btw, your narration game was great too! Love it! Thank you for checking in!

Damn, so much work is put into this! One of my favorite games to play in this jam so far! The gameplay is very smooth and you totally nailed the rhythm aspect for this jam! Love it, the visuals are amazing for a week long jam too!

Yeah, I had trouble trying to get the rhythm match, and the sfx as well, hopefully I could fix tht in future updates! Yeah, and the difficulty when the five stations gets hard, and you'll need some practice before you can get the hang of it, definitely something that I should consider in terms of this game's accessibility. But, anyways, thank you for your comprehensive feedback!

oohh, right, tht's a great idea! I'll definitely put tht in my next patch xd THANKS!

My bad, I personally found the game gets difficult as soon as the fourth station begins to open, maybe I'll make the game more accessible in future updates, but anyways, thanks for your input! Appreciate it XD

Thanks. Alright, I'll consider maybe putting a volume slider for the musical settings. Sorry, what do you mean by remove the control buttons? Thank you for checking in!

No problem!

Oh really? My bad, could've been my mistake haha your game was great tho nevertheless!

Thanks :)

Nice idea! I think I played a similar game in this jam, try checking out "Cat in the Beat"! But overall, great experience, and smooth gameplay! xd

Good concept! The dropping beat is a good idea for this jam, and love the different modes you provide with that Freeplay option. My concern is the movement of the ball is maybe too high, because it's super sensitive to the arrow keys (or maybe tht's the challenge of the game, somehow it becomes fun because of the high sensitivity at times).

Good work!

YOOO THIS IS SO COOL, It's like Cooking Mama x Rhythm Game, Love it! The cooking sequences looked beautiful btw, props to that! The music is very catchy with the game too. Probably a suggestion is to give a particle effect when you hit the notes with the line, I think Unity has an in-built particle, and maybe add a knife slash sfx like fruit ninja whenever u manage to hit the note (just a thought xd). Like Taiko Game kinda stuff, but overall love it! The idea's great too :)

Excellent game!

Hey, this game has such good feel to it! Sadly, i'm not too sure on what's going on, I can move around with WASD and pick up things with Space btn, could you maybe put a mini guide on what to do in your game page's description? This is too good to be skipped! Definitely come back to play it once you put a guide up :)

The gem sound was only meant for when the stations receive them, I intended to use a burning sfx which matches the beat, but i think the sfx volume is too low :'), ill keep your suggestions in mind! Thank you for checking in! Btw, i love your beat game, it was great!

Ah yea :') I do find the game progresses too quickly maybe when the station starts opening, Thanks for your input!!

Alright, i'll take tht into consideration, thanks a lot for your input!

Hey, downloaded your game from the dropbox, definitely a good game for your first jam! Unfortunately, the game has bugs with the buttons, and maybe you could add some UI (Pause screen, etc.). But overall, the shooter mechanism is pretty interesting. Would appreciate it, if you could check out my game as well xd

Congratz on the submission!!

Yeah, once the fourth to fifth station opens, things get difficult xd, my bad, thanks for your input!

Thanks for checking in! Your game was fun too!

No problem!

(1 edit)

The game looks simple in a glance, but this is SUPER CREATIVE, I Love it, played it over and over again! The concept is not overbearing, and it's a super intuitive game. Definitely could see this as a potentially top-tier mobile game. Maybe suggestion for future updates, is to add a flickering platforms with differing beats next time! but as a Jam idea, this is perfect! Would love if you could check out my game as well :)

Thumbs Up!

Lookin' forward to that update!

Your welcome :)

Damn, you're definitely experienced for sure, keep up the great work!

haha you have a point there :) No problem!
