Wowowowow. Absolutely loved this one. Your game has some nice original concepts that sets it apart from others. The music choice was also fire. Loved the scalability of difficulty too! Congrats!
Thanks bud!! I'll still be working to improve this game the best I can :)
Nice twist on the rhythm game formula, I like how the tracks are actual train tracks with carts on them. Adding lanes as you collect the gems is a nice way to build the difficulty up. I found it hard once I got up to 4/5 lanes, but I pretty terrible at rhythm games generally! Maybe you could have different difficulty settings that set the max number of tracks, but for max score you need to enable all of them.
Yea, either making settings, or removing the fifth station altogether would be more suitable to the general tastes. The controls do need work as well, and I'll definitely fix them in the future updates! Thanks for checking in!
nice. Really hard but nice
Thanks bud!
having a rhythm game where you shouldn't hit all keys but first look before you hit is a simpel and ellecant way to turn thnigs around! :)
really clever! :)
Thankss man!!
Having the tracks as... literal rail-tracks is a very neat idea! The incinerators feel good, the animations are clean and the graphics are, while nothing spectacular, cute and easy to identify - which at this speed is all that really matters :) . The music is nice and having some notes be [you must NOT hit this] requires a lot more attention from the player. Unlocking more and more rails (and hence depth and difficulty) is a very good way of organically scaling up the difficulty over time and according to the player ability. A very good solution there.
My only problem is... I cannot, for the life of me, keep up with more than 3 tracks at once. Got to 5 incinerators a few times, but it's just too much at once. The starting difficulty of 2 at once is just right for the begginer, 3 are alright when you're in the beat, 4 is as much as my fingers could at once... Maybe it's not that there are too many tracks, but rather that each new track adds too many obstacles, or more likely that having 5 input keys clustered right next to each other is sort of impractical from the ergonomic perspective - maybe instead of having all the keys directly next to each other, have half for the left hand, half for the right. 5 input keys just makes me try to franticly find a spare finger as I see that pink son of a [curseword] on track 5 about to eat all my precious gems.
Omg, I am totally with you with the hellish 5 track problem djfhsdkhf definitely should have made the tracks closer to each other, or remove the fifth station, literally begging for the players to have a third eye to keep up XD! But thank you so much for your great input, I barely managed to realize this idea solo-wise, but definitely will improve this game in the future updates. Btw, your narration game was great too! Love it! Thank you for checking in!
I mean, if you're going in solo, it's an achievement to get anything finished, let alone polished and ya know - fun to play :D
Give yourself a pat on the back, you made it :)
Thankss bud!! You too! :))))
Cool game! I like the fact that you have to let some 'notes' pass, even if it's damn hard! I had 5 stations open, then more conveyors appeared and I was back to 3 x)
I like the visuals, the music is chill and pretty, the gameplay works fine. At first I thought the gems and the mushroom were to similar, but I got used to it, I think.
However, the conveyors are not that much on the beat which does not feel like I'd be playing the song while burning stuff. Same for the gem and the monster sounds that are not the beat. Also, I feel like the tracks are too far away from one another and my fingers are too close. I often ended hitting D to burn the second line.
Overall, this is a great idea, and it's well executed! Well done ^^
Yeah, I had trouble trying to get the rhythm match, and the sfx as well, hopefully I could fix tht in future updates! Yeah, and the difficulty when the five stations gets hard, and you'll need some practice before you can get the hang of it, definitely something that I should consider in terms of this game's accessibility. But, anyways, thank you for your comprehensive feedback!
A really cool game! Good visualization and good music, but the lack of musical settings brings severe discomfort at the very beginning, it was also possible to put control buttons in the form of drawings on the grid so that they do not need to be remembered. But in any case, it was really nice to play it!
Thanks. Alright, I'll consider maybe putting a volume slider for the musical settings. Sorry, what do you mean by remove the control buttons? Thank you for checking in!
I don't speak English very well, so I wrote "delete" instead of "put". I was referring to the drawings of control buttons on the grilles.
oohh, right, tht's a great idea! I'll definitely put tht in my next patch xd THANKS!
I really liked the concept of this game as well as the music! It got really hard pretty fast as well which is a challenge but I didn't do that well :'D I could barely do 3 at a time. But the graphics were really cute and it was an engaging game overall!
My bad, I personally found the game gets difficult as soon as the fourth station begins to open, maybe I'll make the game more accessible in future updates, but anyways, thanks for your input! Appreciate it XD
This is a really cool concept! I don't see this done much ever, especially as a rhythm game. It gets really hard too, haha. I wasn't able to do 4 at once. I think the gem sound effect would've been better if it was in sync with the beat. Overall, pretty cool!
The gem sound was only meant for when the stations receive them, I intended to use a burning sfx which matches the beat, but i think the sfx volume is too low :'), ill keep your suggestions in mind! Thank you for checking in! Btw, i love your beat game, it was great!
The difficulty increases really quickly as there are more conveyors! It lacks a bit of juiciness but I like how it looks! Well done
Ah yea :') I do find the game progresses too quickly maybe when the station starts opening, Thanks for your input!!
hard but fun game
i really liked the graphics and the music
but the game himself was a little hard
good job
Yeah, once the fourth to fifth station opens, things get difficult xd, my bad, thanks for your input!
yeah the other station makes it harder
but it makes the game better too so dont delete them
Alright, i'll take tht into consideration, thanks a lot for your input!
Very fun game! i love the art!
Thanks for checking in! Your game was fun too!
Super fun!
THANKS
The only complaint I can make was that the crystals blended in too much with slimes and mushrooms.
Oh, my bad, yeah definitely have to work on a good color palette next time, thanks for checking in!
This was super fun gameplay-wise!! Maybe having some sort of sound to indicate i did something right when burning the slimes would have helped the game feel, but otherwise this was addicting and fun :D
Yeah, I should have selected an appropriate sfx for the burning part, but thanks for checking in! Your story game was great too!
Pretty good game, I loved having to juggle between activating different station, playing this was a blast!
Thanks for checking in!
Very interesting game!! We found it a little challenging when more stations open, but it's part of the fun the game offers, great submission! If you can, go play our game, we would appreciate it :)
Hey, thanks man! Yeah, the more stations opened, the more frustrated you get, but the more you play XD, thanks for checking in!
