Ah I think I see. One thing you can try is making the scale closer to the original (change the scale with Q and W). Then there will be more iterations at better quality, and they will be more visible. Generally those fractals will look cooler too. However, I haven't yet found a way around the decrease in quality once the iterations reach a certain size :/ I think that is an inherent effect of using surfaces, but I am still looking for a solution. Hi! I saw your game a week ago, and was very surprised, because I was working on similar tool and even had roughly the same features. Now, though, I added color change with depth, and even managed to set up fractal rendering on zoom - it was quite a challenge! Your UI is really great and intuitive, mine isn't, but with that more chaotic patterns appear easier, and I like it that way. I hope you are interested, so here it is!
