does anyone know how I can get a good ending in the war end quest
I can say "Read the FAQ" :D
1. Save Lizard Spy
2. Help Thane (sabotage both tribes)
3. Invite Thane to the tavern
!!!! Here will be quest where you must find stolen fruits. Сhoose wisely, it will affect to good end too (2 variants).
4. Complete all dungeon and enter demon city (before go to the dungeon take some "fun" with slimes or ghosts [you need 15 curse to enter demon city]).
5. You MUST buy emblem in demon city.
6. In the tavern I don't remember when and whom (Snow or Witer) will say that Thane is awake. Chat with him, he will give you blooded bandage.
7. You'll get invitation to one of the leaders. Talk with him.
8. Go to the tample (you must have 2 emblems). And go to secret room (it will open after reading 3 books and required 1 torch).
9. Enter first picture 2 times (or 3, but third is unnecessary).
10. Check the map. Here will be new '!' mark.
Skull Emblem + Soul Emblem (underground city auction) + the bloody cloth + visit the mysterious dragon within the magical paintings.
1. Get the Soul Emblem and Flo in the Demon City. You have to beat the two underground Dungeons first.
2. When taking the last (act5) quest of the war (after Thane got badly wounded and the fight at the tavern), make sure to visit the tavern and the bull village until you recieve the bloody cloth.
3. Go into the hidden room of the bull-temple and enter the painting several times. You need two emblems to enter the painting and the bloody cloth to acces the important cutscene after 3 visits. In the Cutscene the MC will follow Thane to a cave.
4. You can now find the "!" new cave in the northern parts of the map. Kill the Boss and the war will end.
5. After the peace-treaty is signed talk to the leaders and also explore several location on the map, including the waterfall that lead to another "!" location.
The good ending got many diffrent variations. The perfect good ending depends on player preferences and is somewhat subjectiv.
Act1: Do NOT meet Nauxus in the Swamp (very important). First go to the Bull Village and kill the Lizard Spy. Suspicion: Nauxus 1 ; Axel 0
Act2: Help Thane. After you got the Fear Potion, take the Quest from Selye! (not Axel). Sus: Nauxus 3 ; Axel 1 (sidenote: Cause you killed the Spy and Axel likes you more, you can ask him about "What do the Bulls for fun?". :)
Act3: Help Nauxus with the Rogues Lizards. Edit: Ignore Axel and Thane Request. Sus: Nauxus 3 ; Axel 4
Act4: Give the Fruits to the Bull Tribe. (You MUST give the Fruits to the Bull-tribe to prevent the execution of the three Lizard Prisoners). Suspicion Final Score: Nauxus 3 ; Axel 2
For the price of one Life (the Lizard Spy) you save everyone else and claim ALL the benefits of the good ending: 1. Nauxus Romance (if you forgive him) + Emblem 2. Happy Father-Son Reunion 3. Axel becoming foodtester for Thane's Hell Kitchen Quest.
Enjoy the best outcome of the war. Probably canon as well.
Don't meet Nauxus.
I repeat; you need the Skull Emblem from the first Boss + Soul Emblem from the underworld + the Bloody Cloth. After Axel gives you the last mission, visit the Shrine/Temple instead and enter the paintings in the secret room until you get a vision with Thane. Observe him while he find the cave.
the good ending can be achieved regardless of your choices after either nauxus or axel call you at the end. go and then go find thane and visit the painting, if you bought that emblem at the auction.
people generally prefer nauxus liking them more (whole table of choices and "sus points" in my guide) so they can also date him later, while axel is locked in his ending regardless (but kinda helps in the cooking side-quest, also in the guide)
Act1: Meet Nauxus in the Swamp asap and agree to save the Spy. Then go to the Bull village and meet Thane and Axel. Save the Spy. Suspicion: Nauxus 0 ; Axel 2
Act2: Help Thane. After you got the Fear Potion, take the Quest from Selye. (not Axel!). Sus: Nauxus 2 ; Axel 3
Act3: Listen to both chieftains demand but help Thane instead. Sabotage both sides. Optional (recommended) : allow Thane to stay at the Tavern. Sus: Nauxus 4 ; Axel 5
Act4: Give the Fruits to the Bull Tribe. If Thane is living in the Tavern, Axel prepared a surprise-basket for Thane. On the next day GO IMMIDIATLY to the Bull Village to prevent the Execution of the threee LIzard Prisioners. Suspicion Final Score: Nauxus 4 ; Axel 3
Downside: Nauxus will be salty and refuse any romance. You won't get the Star Emblem. You will also miss a bunch of Extra Dialog with both leaders.
Axel will still be happy enough to become foodtester. Father and son will enjoy a very happe ending. This Ending is for people who wants to save everyone ( including the Lizard Spy) and prefer a monogamous relationship betwen Eyvind and Thane instead of a wierd love triangle.
That would take several hours. And i am not motivated to do this for only one person.If more people would write down in this thread for help i will do this.
Please read the official guide first, and point out what is the problem. Did you miss the hidden room with the picture and the dragon inside? Did you miss the 2second emblem in the demon city auction??
