How to add game maker's name on the page?

I'm a publisher and now I'm planning to put a game on itch.io.

But on the game page, the author name shows my name. And I want to put game maker's name on it too. But I don't know how to do.

Thanks for your help!

You can add publisher information separately in the Metadata->Release Info tab while editing your game, but Itch.io is made with the assumption that people will upload their own creations. I'm not sure how you could fix that, sorry.

Hi! Thank you for your reply!

I've tried put the publisher information in the Metadata->Release Info tab, now I can see the publisher name shows my name. But still author name doesn't change.

Again, thank you for the help!

Least I can do! You should probably contact support and ask for advice since it's an unusual situation.

Okay, I've sent an email to support from itch.io. Thank you very much!

Admin(+1)

You can add them as an “Admin” to the page, and select “Display as contributor,” and their name will show up anywhere where the project’s author would normally show. Keep in mind this will also give them access to edit the page and see the internal analytics.

Hope that helps

Hi! Thanks for your help! I've tried add the publisher name as Admin. Now the game page  shows publisher name. And when select " Display as contributor", that could add names to author. And which this is what I need!

So thank you very much! Problem solved!!!! Great thanks!!

Problem had been solved! Thanks to No Time To Play and Ieafo.

Authors and Publishers who have same problem, please check reply from Ieafo, that will help.
