using this is like playing a game of jenga, it works well but if one thing goes wrong it all falls apart

ive had an entire day wasted with it, it crashes constantly, when i tried to make an enemy, it softlocked, when i tried to make a hp sprite, it softlocked, then whenever i tried to import the same wall texture ive been using it crashes. i cant use this if its gonna softlock all of my projects. im not saying it works horribly, it works wonderful! it has good systems in place, but it would be better if it wouldnt delete my hours of work.

Show the full path where you placed the EFPSE?

i just figured out all the obstacles this dev has, sorry bout this petty post, just got a bit mad.

You could tell us about the problems you have experienced and their solutions! Maybe it could be useful for us too... Thanks

well i really cant say, it just softlocks the project at random. backups suddenly dont work, it just cant run it

i really dont know why if i could tell you i would.

i wish there was somthing else like this i could use while this is getting fixed, i dont want to continue using it but there is nothing else i can use besides this.

just do backups, i have like 61 backups just for a project

Do you change files (textures or whatever) in the project folders while the editor is running?

Because that can crash the editor, some time ago i even killed one project in that way.

So far the only reason for crashes at import is naming problems.
File name should only consist of latin characters and numbers. No whitespaces, but _ can be used.

The same goes to folder the editor is in.
