Initial channel for web upload (butler)

I uploaded a game via the web upload form and tagged it as a Windows executable. What channel name do I use to upload an updated version via Butler?

I tried "windows" but butler indicated that this is the first upload to that channel.

Hey, sorry I didn't see this post sooner.

For files uploaded from our web interface, it's currently not possible to convert those to a butler channel to push to. You'll have to re-push the game.

You can check the channel names you have by going to your project's edit page and looking for the green square next to the upload.

If we delete the manually (web) uploaded build and then uploaded a new one with butler using the same channel (green checkmark) will people who downloaded the first build get those updates or will they have to download the new one manually? How would Itch know which PC channel update to send to users when there is, say, a demo version and a full version?
